I’ve seen that before…

I kinda want to say, that if you take any song sung in the same meter and lay it over another one in the same meter, that it will match up pretty good. Now, since these are the same group, with the same drummer, and they write their songs, its not that hard to believe that two songs would match up fairly well.

Eric is right.. a lot of bands music will have this happen.  I’m sure you could do the same thing to a lot of AC/DC songs.

This reminds me of the whole Dark Side of the Rainbow issue, where you play Dark Side of the Moon along side the movie “The Wizard of Oz”

The band Everclear is the same.  All the songs have the same tempo and rythm.  But this isn’t really that bad.  Has anyone heard the the Beatles “A Day in the Life” over Radiohead’s “Karma Police” music.  It matches up perfect and that doesn’t make either band bad or either song.  Just my 2 cents…

Hadn’t tried that, but I could see that with those two songs, but your right… it doesn’t make either band bad.

“A Day in the Life” is my fav. Beatles song.  And “Karma Police” is pretty cool, too.

I’ve got both as well.  OK COMPUTER is a great album all around.  I think it won a grammy that year it came out.

Also.

“the bitter end” by Sum 41 and “battery” by Metallica.

but sum41 did that purposely *i would assume…*
