i believe u. i got something around that number. never really counted it.
My collection consist of mostly music from the 80’s 90s.  Freestyle Dance, house mix, rap, R&B, Soul, light/soft rock..pretty much everything except HEAVY frekin metal.

I just thought it would be interesting to see how much/ what kind of music everyone listens to. Personally i have over 48gb in music alone.. which is somewhere in the neighborhood of 18,000 songs. All of which are generally classic rock.

Some of my favorite bands:
Pink floyd, Jimi hendrix, Steve miller Band, Allman Brothers, the Doors (hence the screen name), and pretty much everything from that era.

Lol, i dont really know anyone else with over 2,000 songs.. so i thought i’d take a screenshot of the folder so everyone would believe me :D

wow! 48 gb is a lot….what i hate is to download music and that all info is messed up!  :(

heh.. not downloaded my friend. I always knew the library would come in handy. They pretty much, within all of the locations at my city, have every cd known to man. You can reserve them online and can check out up to 50 discs at one time. If you really got serious at this, 48 gigs wouldnt take any time at all. 😊 I have all my music stored on a 160gb external harddrive, that way i can take it to my friends houses and whatnot.

I have about 38gb, which is just under 7000 songs. Then I have my other 60gb hard drive (which is currently not working) that has music on it… I wish I could access those files, too. I need to figure out why it doesn’t boot up.

I just switch to IE and saw the image. yah that is huge. I was thinking he said 4.8gig   :lol:

jeez you guys listen to a LOTTA music.

i tryed getting a big amount, (ripping a bunch of cd’s where i only liked 1 song but ripped the whole cd anyway) and i only got 9 gbs lol
