Master and Commander? Whats it about… never even heard of that movie.  Is it like Wing Commander?

It’s about a Napoleonic War battle.

Capt. Aubrey (Russell Crowe) and his ship’s crew persue a French Privateer.

Excellent movie, you should rent it.

M&C is a brilliantly made film based on the series of books printed in Britten a number of years ago.  It tells a tale of England vs. France.  The battle scenes are beatiful and sound great.  The DVD is DTS enabled and it is honestly the best sound I’ve ever heard on a DVD.  The seperation is amazing!  back to the movie, Russel Crowe’s performance is the best I’ve seen since Gladiator.  The scenes and characters are historically acurate and well-portraited

3/5.  Hard to understand the dialogue, and that’s even with the subtitles on.  A little long too.  POtC was much better.

I didn’t see it but all of my friends said it was “Russel Crowe Fights ‘Round the World’  They didn’t recommend it.

7/10 it was okay 😊
