What is a good surround sound system?

I’m getting a new 32” Philips flatscreen TV pretty soon, and I want a surround sound system to go with it, but I don’t know any.

Suggestions?

lol only a true Xbot would want that surround sound system 8)

For true audiophonics, I recommend you to purchase Klipsch 5.1 speakers.  Best quality I have ever experienced; it is currently what I have set up on my home PC for my gaming and movies 😉

If you got the cash to shell, it is worth every cent.  I love my music in crystal clarity, and yet explosive BOOMS remain amplified!

In walls do not sound as good as standard speakers.

This is what I use too. Absolutely incredible sound.

I used to use it exclusively on the computer, but I have since bought a Creative DDTS 100 and moved it out to my front room with the DVD player and Xbox hooked up to it. I never got to use it in my computer room since the only time I ever got to play games was after my kids were in bed, or my wife was asleep. :(

Onkyo HTS-670. Although the sub is kinda ugly, I am happy with the system. Its going for about $400 now as well.

ah the klipsch promedia ultra, yes they are good but mainly for computers, it will be hard pressed to fill a full room with bass. i have the megaworks and even though they arnt as strong as the promedia ultra its still within compariable range, but if its for home thertre then dont get the promedia ultra unless you’re really on a budget.

Check out the hot deals page, the logitech speakers the dude was talking about are 210 with super saving shipping, that’s barely over 200 and you get amazing quality.
