Resident Evil 4 = One of the best games ever!!! I’ve played that game at least 15 times over. It seriously never gets old to me. Can’t wait for the next one.
I’ve heard a lot of good things about Kingdom Hearts 2. I was disappointed in the first one. There were aspects of the gameplay that I just didn’t understand. And it seemed at times both too easy and too difficult. Perhaps I’ll check out the sequel. 😊
My 9-year old has a PS2 that I bought him for Christmas two years ago. Mostly I just buy him the games and he plays them but recently we started playing Pirates: The legend of Black Kat. It’s a cool game, but we’ve hit a snag. We’re up against the ugly Voodoo Master and have gotten our butts kicked over and over again. Anyone out there play this game? Any suggestions on how to beat him besides using the cheats?
MGS3 probably had the best 2-3 hours of a game in existence 😊 I did enjoy it very much although the strong emphasis on story telling is definitely not for everyone.
If you didn’t buy MGS3 yet, I would suggest going for the Subsistence one rather than the original for the sole reason that Subsistance allows for a very nice and very useful 3rd person camera view (plus it has all those useless goodies with it)
KH and KH2 were surprisingly good; I was awaiting a Disney childish game, but (for the 2nd one,) I got a Disney childish yet interesting and story-driven game.
And after you finish the 2nd one, try to get the secret ending (or find it online.)...
I set Pirates aside for the moment and am now playing Dark Alliance I. It’s part of Baldur’s Gate. Anyways, it’s quite cool but definitely easier when played in easy mode. It’s fun, with lots of puzzles to figure out, lots of quests to fulfill, and lots of magical items you can get.
Finished the 3rd Fatal Frame for PS2 this weekend…this is by far the creepiest/scariest horror-like games I’ve ever played, it’s well worth it for those who love the genre.
I could compare it to…hmm Clock Tower or maybe…Eternal Darkness.
Basically in all three of them, you are a girl, who can see ghosts through cameras, and obviously the setting is quite morbid. The game does not revolve around gore, but more around fright. Some ghost are not violent, they just appear to creep the heck out of you (I just remember simple cutscenes were you go grab and item and then BAM ghost hand grabs you, your view switches back and…nothing 😊 )
I haven’t seen the games often on shelves, but I loved all three of them, best played at night too…
I’m actually play Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask right now. I bought it when it first came out and played but never finished it. It still is really good.
NCAA07 for the 360; and I decided to pickup TH:AW and start playing that again. I stopped back around March and told myself I’d have to find every gap before I’d buy project 8. Down to the last level that needs gaps so hopefully I’ll finish it out later tonight.
After that’s all done, I think I’ll work on CoD3 & Project8.
