ya, these players are just meant for quick easy access to some of your music and they’re MUCH easier to haul around than an iPod. I could use something like this for when I go jogging or work out.

Apple’s flash based MP3 player was announced at MacWorld. Check it out and love it.

i dont like it. no screen. waz the point. i mean yea its nice and compact. but still. all it does is shuffle music. i guess cuz it works good w/ iTunes. but still tho. im happy w/ my 20gb iPod 8)

So?  Walkmens didn’t have a screen.  MuVo players don’t have a screen either, and people still buy them.  These players aren’t meant for you to store your entire music collection forever.

I think they are a pretty good deal.  I was very surprised at how low the price was!  $149 for 1gb is pretty cheap for apple.  I guess the screen helped them a little bit.  I also like the USB plug built into the iPod.  Less hassle with cables.  I think they will sell like hotcakes 😛
