she’s riding off the success of her sister. ashlee is horrid. i’m glad she got boo’d, it was hilarious. it pains me to admit that she’s from my city.  it amazes me that she’s so popular, i mean, a good majority of the crowd was booing her, an di know at the billboard awards, she got boo’d also.

Am I the only person that felt sorry for her?  That’s so wrong to boo someone like that, I don’t care how much you didn’t like the performance.  I really would hope people would have more class than this. 

I did notice that during her performance her vocal track got off track with her actual singing, which was horrible.  She also didn’t do a good job singing at all, but come one..

I feel bad for her.. this is the second time in her early career she has f***ed up… damn… what luck..damn, sucks to be her

Well she really shouldn’t of had a carrer in the first place.

Really I thought her music was okay for pop music.  If she could only reproduce the music herself she would be fine.

For me the live performance is the most important thing…Im sick of all these studio bands who sound like #### live

I have bands I like SIMPLY cause of their live show being amazing….Bad Acid Trip(On serjical strikes records) I hated…..after seeing em live(I was blown away) I love them

3 things I base bands on

1) Their Live show
2) how they sound
3) If theyre cool

Most of the bands are small enough that I can hang with em and stuff….but if theyre bigger then only the first 2…...but if theyre like assholes I start to not like their music…Music is about performing…and if they cant even do that they get none of my respect

i was drving 2 months ago with my top down pull up next to some hot chick with my music blasting all the sudded ashlee simpson comes on loud as hell the girl next to me like jetted off when the light turned green

This is just a personal theory, but if I am a passenger on a plan, I don’t want the youngest most inexperienced pilot flying the plane, especially if they’ve already made some large rookie mistakes.

She doesn’t belong on stage, I’m sure she is a wonderful human being, and I’m even more sure she has some wonderful songs, and someday, when she’s ready, I’m sure she will be a great performer. Today is not that day.

Musicians learn the ropes and become hardened pros by being on stage every nite. By getting booed by small crowds who don’t want them onstage before their favorite band. By being the only 4 people in a bar, but still playing like its a packed arena. By not stopping when they break a string, miss a note, lose their place, fall off the stage, vomit, get hit with a full beer can, the PA dies, the wrong lip sync tape is rolled. I’ve seen all of those things happen to a band, and the pros are the ones who keep playing.

i certainly don’t feel bad for her. There are tons of bands and artists out there with actual talent that will never get heard, but horrible artists like her somehow make it and we all have to suffer. if she actually had talent, and they boo’d her, then i’d feel bad. her performance was horrible, and it wasn’t just some fluke, she’s just that bad.

What do you use to convert to divx?  I have a trial version of DrDivx and it makes decent AVI’s (from VOB’s) but it’s $40 to purchase.

I would have booed also.  That is all.

I use VirtualDubMod, which is free from sourceforge. it can handle MPG, AVI, and most other types of movies, and can convert them to anything you have a codec for. It comes with divx and xvid. I used divx to compress it.

Oh okay, I might hit you up with some questions later.

Same here but we are not total idiots either lol but I do really think the way people think of music is a lot different then back then…......

Well, I was born in ‘89, and I love good music, such as:
Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, AC/DC, Aerosmith, The Who, The Beatles, etc…

EDIT: But well, what’s good music to some is bad to others, so we can’t say who’s right and wrong when it comes to music.
