please don’t call me a “typical american”...i realize soccer is the biggest sport outside of the US. I don’t have cable tv, which sort of limits me to watching MLS soccer, which in my opinion is rather boring. I have seen a few european soccer games, and while they’re better, it doesn’t spark any interest in me(cept when the hooligans go bezerk). my best friend has played soccer for pretty much his whole life, so I tried to see what he likes about it, but it just doesn’t do it for me, unless i’m playing. Even then, i’m horrible at it, lol. For me, the goals just don’t happen often enough, so I get bored and down a beer, lol. I think if they lit the ball on fire, or could somehow make it like the movie “Shaolin Soccer”, I’d be much more inclined to enjoy it. 😊
