If you are looking for headphones, I highly recommend the Sennheiser PX100 or Audio-Technica ATH-FC7.  Fabulous sound, compact design, comfortable fit, good cord length. Much smaller than you expect, great for on the go use.

im a fan of sennheisers…even their cheap 10 dollar headphones sound great.

I have a few pairs of sennheisers headphones. I love them. they are great..wonderful quality

For under $100?

Definately the Grado SR-60s. I got a pair for home use, and I had to get a pair for work too because I couldn’t stand listening to my old headphones anymore.

Go to your local nice audio store and ask to try the headphones out on their system. Any supplier of good headphones is going to let you test them before you make a purchase.
