You may think it’s the Terrible Towels that bring the Pittsburgh Steelers luck. You’re wrong. The Steelers’ fortune changed on Sunday when a fan went above and beyond to demonstrate his devotion to his team.  This performance energized the home team in their 20-13 come-from-behind victory over Dallas.

Another weekend just above .500.  Not bad but not the strides that would have been nice.  The regular season is going to leave the bank in good position to do some things in the post-season.

We’re throwing in a little bit of everything following the long Thanksgiving weekend. The Detroit Lions and Seattle Seahawks provided turkeys of games as they got blown out by the Tennessee Titans and Dallas Cowboys Thanksgiving Thursday. The front-runners keep winning and Plaxico Burress looks like a jailbird. To the stew!

I went 2 games over .500 and am at 54% for the year.  Yes it would be nice to make faster progress, but its all about learning and its all about the accumulation of knowledge for years to come.  Unless one of your bets is going to net you enough to retire, you are going to be betting again.  Settle in, get comfortable and start paying attention.
