Another weekend just above .500. Not bad but not the strides that would have been nice. The regular season is going to leave the bank in good position to do some things in the post-season.
Season: 102-87-3
Last Week: 9-7-0
Oakland Raiders @ San Diego Chargers
Notes: I am 1-0 headed into Sunday after the Chargers dismantled the Raiders. I didn’t watch the game and forgot it was on. If you are one of those distrusting people then here is a link for you to see my selection: Dean Likes the Chargers
Pick: Chargers -10
Jacksonville Jaguars @ Chicago Bears
Notes: I really don’t know where to go with this game. It seems that the Jaguars have given up, and it seems the Bears better days of 2008 are long gone. I have no reason for this selection that is worth writing.
Pick: Jaguars +6.5
Cleveland Browns @ Tennessee Titans
Notes: The Titans showed last week what they are made of. I know it was the Lions, but it was on a short week and it came after their first loss of the year.
Pick: Titans -14
Philadelphia Eagles @ New York Giants
Notes: The Giants just win and while the line is large, I will take the Giants.
Pick: Giants -6.5
Minnesota Vikings @ Detroit Lions
Notes: The Lions do not cover at home, and while this may be their best shot for a win the rest of the year, don’t count on it.
Pick: Vikings -10
Houston Texans @ Green Bay Packers
Notes: Nice win by the Texans last week, however Houston has shown nothing this year to suggest they can go into Green Bay and win. 5.5 is not too much for the Packers to handle.
Pick: Packers -5.5
Atlanta Falcons @ New Orleans Saints
Notes: I am taking the Saints because I don’t think the Falcons will win more than 9 games this year, and they already have 8.
Pick: Saints -3
Cincinnati Bengals @ Indianapolis Colts
Notes: The Bengals have played some tough games this year. This is a log of points for a Colts team that is not clicking.
Pick: Bengals +13.5
Miami Dolphins @ Buffalo Bills
Notes: The Dolphins should win this game. Buffalo’s performance against the 49ers was too pathetic for me to believe they can do anything this year.
Pick: Dolphins pk
New England Patriots @ Seattle Seahawks
Notes: I am not down on the Patriots after last week’s loss to the Steelers. The Seahawks are also really bad.
Pick: Patriots -6.5
Kansas City Chiefs @ Denver Broncos
Notes: I can’t see Kansas City winning 2 straight road games. I will then bet that it isn’t close.
Pick: Broncos -9
New York Jets @ San Francisco 49ers
Notes: This matchup favors the Jets in my opinion.
Pick: Jets -3.5
St. Louis Rams @ Arizona Cardinals
Notes: The Cardinals may score 70 points.
Pick: Cardinals -14
Dallas Cowboys @ Pittsburgh Steelers
Notes: The Steelers are tougher and their defense is better.
Pick: Steelers -3
Washington Redskins @ Baltimore Ravens
Notes: I have gone against the Ravens all year, eventually I have to be right. Right?!
Pick: Redskins +5
Tampa Bay Buccaneers @ Carolina Panthers
Notes: I like the Panthers at home.
Pick: Panthers -3
