Mango storeSpanish-based clothing retailer Mango is moving into 600 JCPenney stores across the states by Fall 2010.

With both Charlotte Ronson and the Olsen twins stationing their own lines there, the department store seems to be making its way up the fashion industry ladder! While Mango has already set up 12 stand-alone shops in the US, it is nothing compared to its international number at 1,200; it is clear that the partnership is aimed at broadening its American presence.

Although the I Heart Ronson line isn’t too bad, there was nothing special about that line nor the Olsenboye range. This makes me wonder if Mango will be altering their clothes to fit the JCPenney look once they’re in the stores—the last time I ever step foot in the department store, I’m fairly sure I didn’t see any sweaters priced at $70.

Either way, I’m more concerned about having to prepare myself for a bombardment of Scarlett Johansson ads when I do my back-to-school shopping!

Patrick and Jillian Dempsey for Patrick Dempsey 2

Patrick Dempsey‘s new fragrance is about his marriage.

The Grey’s Anatomy actor - who has recently launched Patrick Dempsey 2, with beauty retailer Avon - designed the scent to represent the “power” of his ten-year union to Avon’s Creative Color Director, Jillian Dempsey.

“The first fragrance, Unscripted, was about the individual, following your passion and all of that. Why not take it to the next step and go, ‘this is about two people and the power of the relationship.’”

Heidi Klum with baby Lou Supermodel Heidi Klum lost her pregnancy weight thanks to her baby.

The German-born beauty modeled for a Victoria’s Secret underwear show just six weeks after giving birth to her fourth child, daughter Lou, and credits taking long walks with the infant for helping her shed the excess pounds.

“In the first two weeks after the birth I did absolutely nothing. Then I started very slowly with a bit movement. We live in Los Angeles at a very steep hillside. I walked it up and down - with a baby buggy! Then I extended this subsequently to longer walks.”

As time went on, Heidi expanded her workouts but admits she prefers working out with the infant than a trainer: “Then I called my trainer Andrea Orbeck. She comes to me a few times a week. We train with weights, we do exercises with a medicine ball and much more. To be honest - it is not really fun for me. But I think it’s important for my body.”

Claire Danes working outMe and Orson Welles actress Claire Danes only goes to the gym to watch TV.

Danes revealed her toned, slender physique is due to the hours spent catching up on her favorite TV shows while in the gym each day.

“I’ve become a bit of a gym person. I feel apologetic about it because it looks a little un-cool, but I like to have an appointment every day. Plus it’s the only time I watch TV.”

The 30-year-old star - who secretly married her Evening co-star Hugh Dancy in September - also admitted she stays in shape by dancing to Caribbean soul music.

“Some of my happiest moments have been dancing. But I’m not very hip. Right now, I’m really into Jamaican jams, Caribbean soul and stuff.”

Paris Hilton goes fishingAlthough known for her princess style and love of sparkles, Paris Hilton says she’s a tomboy.

The socialite says that despite her glamorous, party-loving image, she has a secret active side and claims she is “totally different” away from the cameras.

“I still am a tomboy. I love to go fishing. I love sports. I used to play ice hockey. You know, I think people only see the glamour and the parties, but when I’m at home I’m completely different.”

Despite her comments, Paris’ mum Kathy says the star is a “hair fanatic” and only launched her range of hair extensions because she couldn’t bear being without her favorite luxuries on The Simple Life.

“She’s a hair fanatic. That’s why with The Simple Life she decided to do those hair extensions, because she went crazy thinking ‘I’m going to be without a blow-dryer for four weeks!’” Kathy said.

Paris’ latest products are The Celebrity Styler flat iron and Ultimate Brush, which her sister Nicky says would have been ideal for her to work on. She told People, “She’s always loved experimenting with different makeup and hairstyles, so I think this product is a lot of fun for her.”

Stefano Gabbana and Domenico DolceDolce and Gabbana are set to receive an award for their contribution to Milan.

The design duo - full names Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana - say they are “honored” after learning they will be given the Ambrogino D’oro, an annual award presented to citizens who have contributed meaningfully to the city.

“We are extremely honored and excited to receive this award. Milan is not only our city and where our home is, but also the place that allowed us to make our dream come true. Milan has given us a lot and we cannot be but happy that our work contributed to its well-being,” said Stefano.

The award takes its name from Milan’s patron saint, Saint Ambrogio, and is given out on the same day the saint is celebrated.

The duo are not the only designers to be recognized for their contributions to a city. Last week, Alber Elbaz’s was honoured for his cultural impact on Paris as creative director of Lanvin.

“I have no problems with showing my body. I’m Danish. Everyone’s naked on the beaches. We don’t really give a s***.”

Zac PosenSpeculation concerning the economic stability of Zac Posen’s label emerged amidst the lay-offs and announcement of a lower-end line. Posen seems to have found a solution that many other designers have opted for as of late: a diffusion line.

Posen is set to collaborate with Target, which is not necessarily a new team-up—Posen previously designed a one-off collection for Target Australia, which he claims to have done for the free trip!

With Rodarte’s Target line hitting stores next month and Jean Paul Gaultier’s collaboration in March, Posen’s will not be available until April 25. Torturous, I know, but at least we’ll have time to recover from Fashion Week!

Excited for Posen’s line, or plain sick of the cheaper products?
