Kate Moss in her new collection for Topshop

Fashion icon Kate Moss loves going out wearing her pajamas.

The supermodel, who is regarded as one of the world’s most stylish women, says that she’s happy to go out in her nightwear as she likes to feel comfortable.

“I do like a pajamas. I wore a pair out as eveningwear in New York once, and there was a massive snowstorm. We couldn’t get a cab, so I had to walk home in them. It was freezing, but they did look good.”

Lindsay with designer Estrella ArchsThe Lindsay Lohan-Ungaro debacle continues to be making headlines; this time, reports are saying that the starlet wasn’t paid for her creative advisor position.

The 23-year-old actress worked on designs with the fashion house’s new head designer Estrella Archs for three weeks, but was given $147,000 worth of free clothes in place of payment.

A source revealed, “Ungaro is not paying her at all to be a consultant for them. Her team is working to get Lindsay some form of payment from the fashion house, but right now they will only give her free clothes. The deal is perfect for them - they have nothing to lose, even though the clothes were not a big hit.”

It has even been claimed she paid for her flight and hotel at Paris Fashion Week herself, when her range debuted there earlier this month.  The line, which she described as “a dream come true,” was slammed as “underwhelming” and “non-skilled” by fashion journalists.

But speaking about her clothes, Lindsay defiantly said, “Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. I didn’t expect everyone to be completely loving the collection.”

Stella McCartney's line for Gap KidsApparently, muses tend to run in the family around the fashion industry. Take, for instance, Matthew Williamson and his inspirational mother.

For vegetarian designer Stella McCartney, it’s her four year-old son Miller!

“My eldest son is just starting to have a mind of his own. I was going to do pirates and he said: ‘Nah, don’t do pirates.’ It suddenly dawned on me that this wasn’t just about what parents want to put on their kids, but about what kids will choose themselves. I needed to make every piece [of clothing] one that my children wanted to wear.”

Who knows—perhaps we’ll be seeing Miller creating ranges in the future. Those McCartneys are an imaginative group, after all.

The 70-piece collection, which is priced from $14 to $128, hits select Gap stores on November 2nd.

Tom Ford wants to design womenswear when he has the moneyTom Ford says that he will release a womenswear collection when he finds the time and money.

The former Gucci and YSL designer is keen to have a female range, but admits he is waiting for the appropriate funding: “Financing is extremely expensive right now, so if we find financing in the right situation we’ll be able to start a women’s collection soon. If we don’t, we may have to wait a while. You know it will take me 18 months when I start, because I have to hire the team, find the factories, put everything together and then get the stores ready so there’s a place for these clothes.”

The 48-year-old also revealed sales of his menswear collection are doing very well: “Things are getting better every day in most places. So I’m optimistic and this is something that I plan on doing for the next 30 years of my life, so if I have to wait another six months or a year (to launch women’s) it’s ok.”

Christian Louboutin, shoe god

Even though it seems as if everyone is doing a diffusion line for either H&M, Target, or other major retail chain, there’s one designer who is counting himself out: Christian Louboutin.

While he’s happy to shell out his time and effort for Barbie, it seems as if the shoe designer has no other collaborations in mind: “They [H&M] proposed me to do the diffusion line and I declined… Not that I don’t think it’s an interesting idea, but it’s a lot of work really, so it’s just difficult for me to do it.”

When asked about whether he would consider such a project in the future, my dreams of purchasing an affordable pair of his godlike creations were crushed. A girl can dream, eh?

Stylist Robert Verdi

“There are different cultural norms and values and beauty identities, and the fact that thin is in — who cares? It’s why I stopped eating. I think food is for fat people and poor people. Rich people don’t eat. They get dressed up and go shopping.”

Gossip Girls Blake Lively and Leighton MeesterThe Gossip Girl wardrobe is worth an estimated $19 million.

The hit TV show, which follows a group of wealthy New York teenagers, is famed for its designer clothes, bags, jewelery, shoes and other accessories. Each episode of the series, which stars Leighton Meester and Blake Lively, features a string of exclusive outfits, which are stored in an impressive wardrobe spanning 1,500 sq ft and five floors.

Chace Crawford, who plays Nate Archibald on the show, said, “The girls disappear into that wardrobe for hours. They are like kids in a candy store! In fact, I always ask them not to schedule my fittings after Blake’s, because she always makes me late for my next scene. I tell them they have to get her enough Disneyland time.”

Costume designer Eric Daman has revealed it is a lengthy process trying to decide which pieces are featured on the show: “We average five to six looks per character—a total of 80 outfits per episode. And you have to go through 500 to get to that 80.”

Chace insists most of the wardrobe space is occupied by outfits for the leading female characters: “I have five pairs of shoes in a large box. They have clothes spread over five stories!”

Vidal Sassoon and Mia FarrowVidal Sassoon says Mia Farrow’s famous cropped haircut was done by mistake.

The world-famous hairdresser was flown to Los Angeles by filmmaker Roman Polanski, who was directing the actress in 1968 movie Rosemary’s Baby, and asked to give her a new look.

Mia, however, had had an argument with someone close to her and had taken the scissors to her hair, leaving Vidal with a difficult task.

He revealed, “I said, Mia, you’ve really ballsed it up. I’m going to have to go very short.” The pixie-like crop became one of the most sought-after looks in the world and millions of women copied Mia’s style.

Vidal also revealed that he was “impossible” to work with when he was younger because he was so obsessed with hair: “I was impossible. It was all hair, hair, hair. Ricci Burns (60s hairstylist and now a fashion designer) said that I was quite mad and impossible to work with.”

Vanessa Paradis modeling for ChanelFrench songstress and starlet Vanessa Paradis is the new face of Chanel lipstick.

The 36-year-old actress-and-model will star in a global campaign for the luxury make-up range’s new collection Rouge Coco de Chanel, which will be available to buy from 2010.

Chanel said that Vanessa was chosen due to her “modern elegance, boldness of character and power of emotion.” No further information on the advertising campaign or who will shoot it has been announced.

It is not the first time Vanessa, the longtime love of Johnny Depp, has worked with Chanel: in 1992, she starred in adverts for the luxury fashion house’s Coco perfume. In the campaign, she was seen dressed as a bird swinging from a cage. In 2003, she became creative director Karl Lagerfeld’s muse and promoted Chanel’s Cambon handbags. Two years later she starred in campaigns for The New Mademoiselle handbag.

Amber Rose at Elle Women in Hollywood AwardsEver wonder what kind of conversation model Amber Rose had with Ford Models when they signed her? Well, now we don’t have to wonder so much—Rose dished some tidbits at the Elle Women in Hollywood Awards.

“I told them, Don’t ask me to grow out my hair or lose any weight. I want to represent real women who have curves.”

Right, because real women can pull off the shaved head look! So what about those tattoos?

Well, she revealed to blogger Elizabeth Snead that she promised Ford to not get any more ink done—until her contract is up, that is.

Oh Amber Rose—you’re so rebellious! No wonder Kanye West loves you so much. Much unlike Kanye, however, Rose has a sense of humor. When host Alec Baldwin jokingly alluded to her boyfriend’s infamous VMA incident, the runway model giggled a bit.

As if anyone can resist Mr. Baldwin’s charm…
