Joanna Lumley modeling the Shere Khan necklace

Joanna Lumley has modeled a necklace to help raise money to protect endangered tigers. The Absolutely Fabulous actress posed for photographer John Swannell wearing the solid gold, diamond-encrusted Shere Khan Necklace, which is hoped to raise at least $490,000 for the Born Free Foundation.

Designed by Catherine Best to depict the tiger in Rudyard Kipling's Jungle Book' the jewelry holds 182 precious stones set in nearly a kilo of 18ct gold and has been valued at over half a million pounds. Joanna described the necklace as "blingtastic" and compared it to pieces worn by members of the royal family.

Miranda KerrSupermodels are human, after all: Victoria's Seret model Miranda Kerr "felt a little nervous" about returning to the catwalk.

Kerr admitted she had insecurities about going back to the runway after giving birth to her and husband Orlando Bloom's son, Flynn, four months ago, but overcame her initial fears to star in a Paris fashion show.

"I felt a little nervous. I hadn't been in high heels for a while. It was probably a good five months since I'd worn heels, but it was kind of like riding a bicycle."

Miranda's body has naturally changed slightly since giving birth, but she is pleased with her shapelier look: "My hips are wider, and my boobs are obviously bigger. I feel like I've become more of a woman now, and I'm really embracing those curves."

Fashion photographer RankinFashion photographer Rankin would consider breaking his no-weddings rule for Kate Moss.

While he has always refused to act as official photographer at weddings because he finds the pressure too great, he would step in if close pal Kate Moss -- who will marry Jamie Hince in July -- asked him to photograph her nuptials.

"You don't say no to Kate but she wouldn't ask me -- she'll probably get Mario [Testino]. If she did ask though, I'd tell her to get back up as well as me. I'd be so nervous, and not just because it's her -- for anyone it's a really special day. There's too much pressure on it and so much stress seems to surround weddings. I always say no to photographing family weddings -- I'll always set up a studio on the day but I won't take pictures all day. You don't want to mess it up."

If Rankin -- who along with photographing Kate has worked with Sienna Miller, Heidi Klum and Vivienne Westwood -- does decide to take pictures of Kate's wedding he should find it easy as he revealed he learned his craft by taking pictures of family and friends.

Amanda Seyfried as a child modelRed Riding Hood actress Amanda Seyfried says she was a "weird-looking" child.

Seyfried is often voted one of the world's most beautiful women, but she insists that she hasn't always been confident with her looks, even though she was a child model.

"I was a child model but I wasn't doing much of it. I just don't consider myself a 'model' because I wasn't. I was such a weird-looking child. I had braces and I was kind of chubby."

Amanda has previously revealed how she hated looking in the mirror when she was growing up because she felt so ugly:

Gemma Ward on Harper's Bazaar

After her three-year modeling hiatus, Gemma Ward has returned and graced Harper's Bazaar with her supermodel presence.

Shot by Peter Ash Lee, who photographed her first editorial ending her hiatus in the Australian newspaper Herald Sun, Ward has -- much to her fashion-minded fans' disappointment -- landed the cover to promote her current turn in the stage play The Ugly One.

Admittedly, this is quite obvious, given the simple styling and not-so-model-y pose. What do you think of Ward's latest career moves?

Beyonce behind the scenes of her new music video-- Freelance model/photographer/retoucher Felice Fawn defends and provides proof of her Facebook conversation with Terry Richardson, which (not surprisingly) perpetuated his sleazy image. A fan of his work, Fawn is still holding out that the person who messaged her was a fraud.

-- American Apparel is supposedly even closer to filing bankruptcy.

-- Male model Eric Zentner -- who appeared in Versace ads, Teen Vogue editorials, and a Katy Perry music video -- was killed in a hit and run accident while he was en route to visit his mother last Saturday. Police are still searching for the suspect.

-- Beyonce was spotted on the set of her latest music video, which features the first single off her new album. In the photos, she wears Roberto Cavalli Pre-Spring 2011 and Fall/Winter 2011. Like her gal pal Gaga, she seems to have again reinvented her look.

Crystal Renn on Vogue MexicoThe year 2011 has thus far been a promising one for Crystal Renn, who landed her first Vogue cover for Vogue Mexico's April issue.

Photographed by David Roemer and styled by Sarah Gore-Reeves, Renn brings out the fun, excitement of fashion with her poses and lights up the magazine's pages while also welcoming spring with bold, bright lips, eyeshadow, nails, and clothes.

Admittedly, the coveted Vogue cover gig was long overdue for Renn, who has previously starred in several Vogue editorials, including a food-centric one shot by Terry Richardson under the former Vogue Paris editor-in-chief Carine Roitfeld.

Turned away from a Vogue Italia cover for not being able to fit into the dress the magazine desired, Renn now has been vindicated with a cover that has received an overwhelming amount of praise, prompting many to believe she may appear on the American edition soon.

Check out the rest of the story after the jump for more photos and a behind-the-scenes video!

Katy Perry on Elle Magazine-- Mother of Johnny Depp's kids and muse to Karl Lagerfeld, Vanessa Paradis, makes eye patches sexy by sporting a black rose one on the cover of i-D Magazine. Is this her hint at wanting a role in Pirates of the Caribbean?

-- Katy Perry tones down her costume look for Elle magazine, where she instead sports a colorful Gucci suit. Looking a bit like Emily Blunt on the cover, Perry's business attire works well for her.

-- Of course, Perry can't always keep to tame pants suits. The 26 year-old appeared at the Mexico City launch of her new fragrance -- Purr by Katy Perry -- in a purple dress that left little to the imagination.

-- Continuing on her unspoken path to rid the cosmetic world of chemicals, supermodel Gisele Bundchen has just proclaimed her detestment of sunscreen, calling it poison. Of course, those who are fighting tirelessly for the prevention of skin cancer are outraged.

-- Speaking of outrage, Glee actress Lea Michele landed the cover of Cosmopolitan wearing a v-cut top that -- gasp -- almost reveals her navel! Naturally, Glee parents who have no concept of the difference between television characters and the people who portray them, are upset.

Daisy Lowe on ASOS

"My dream is to see a lot more female shapes in ad campaigns when I look through magazines...my friend was working with Crystal Renn and said she thinks she's only got a 38-inch hip. Karl Lagerfeld said he was going to embrace her womanly shape and then he just put her face on the ad campaign. Girls are starting to have tits in pictures, but I think it still needs to be about the curve... Real women have hips and an arse, yet loads of models in shows seem to have neither."

-- Size 4 model Daisy Lowe on wanting to see more womanly curves on the runway.

Lea T on Love

Riccardo Tisci's former assistant-turned-model Lea T snagged a second of five alternate covers of Love's Androgynous Issue -- the first of which she is photographed kissing Kate Moss -- only this time, she poses solo.

Photographed by Mert and Marcus, Lea's strong -- yet beautiful -- features arrest the viewer, as she stands centered in a vulnerable position. Powerful, no doubt, I wonder if the obnoxious words "This is Hardcore" really needed plastering in the middle of the image.

While many doubted the 28 year-old's place in Tisci's Givenchy ads -- pointing to her transgender story that stole fashion headlines and a revealing Vogue Paris editorial -- I think that this Love cover cements her place in the industry.

Kate's cover, on the other hand, is not so flattering (seen after the jump). While the supermodel's freckles are a plus, the styling efforts failed at making her pass as a guy. Also, someone on the editing team didn't know what to do with the contours and shadows of her chest.
