Lady Gaga Gets Her Head Tattooed in Front of a Crowd

Lady Gaga had a tattoo inked into her newly-shaved head in front of a live audience last night.
The "Born This Way" hitmaker had an image of a cherub wearing a crown etched into the back of her head at New York's Solomon R Guggenheim Museum as part of the launch for her new perfume Fame, and tattooist Mark Mahoney says the design is a nod to her Italian roots. Mark - who was helped by his assistant Wes Brown - explained, "It's kind of a Renaissance era cherub, a nod to her Italian heritage."

Sharon Osbourne Is on the Atkins Diet

Sharon Osbourne has gone on the Atkins diet.
The outspoken redhead has decided to follow the low-carbohydrate eating plan - invented by Robert Atkins - in a bid to shift her excess pounds before she hits 60 on October 9. Speaking on her TV show The Talk Sharon, said, "I've struggled with my weight for years, and I wanted a diet plan that would ensure I'd look and feel great. After looking at other weight-loss plans, I realized that Atkins is the best plan for me because my body - like many women my age - doesn't process sugar and refined carbs well."
The diet is already working well for Sharon and she has lost over 10 pounds in just two weeks. "In just two weeks, I am already 11 pounds lighter!" she revealed. Sharon's overall goal is to lose 25 lbs and she has praised the diet as effective and healthy and great because it lets you eat "delicious foods."

The pop star - who shot to fame after starring on the The Mickey Mouse Club in 1993 - has had a more curvaceous body in recent years since the birth of her son Max in January 2008 but she insists she enjoys having a more bountiful body to work with.
Speaking to Lucky magazine's October issue about her new fuller figure, she said, "Actually, the challenge I've always had is being too thin, so I love that now I have a booty, and obviously I love showing my cleavage."
Christina - who had Max with her ex-husband Jordan Bratman - also urged other curvaceous women to be proud of their bodies: "Hey, if you can work it and you can own it, that confidence is going to shine through."

Jessica Simpson’s Weight Struggles

The 32-year-old singer gave birth to her daughter Maxwell Drew Johnson on May 1 and admitted she gorged on calorific treats during the pregnancy, which lead to her piling on the pounds.
"I let myself indulge in everything I wanted because it was the first time I was ever pregnant, and I wanted to enjoy it. I didn't know [the weight] didn't all come off with the baby," she told USA Today.
Jessica has embarked on an exercise regime, but the curvy star revealed her "boobs are way too big to run at this point." However, Jessica insisted she wants to show people that it's not easy to bounce back after having a baby and is determined to lose weight in a healthy way: "My body is not bouncing back like a supermodel. I'm just your everyday woman who is trying to feel good and be healthy for her daughter, her fiance and herself."

Lady Gaga Goes on a Gluten-Free Diet

Lady Gaga has switched to a gluten-free diet.
The "Bad Romance" singer has started the next leg of her huge Born This Way Ball tour in Sofia, Bulgaria, and she has opted to go on a new diet to make sure she is in the best shape for the grueling workout.
"Gaga has decided to go on a major body blitz and cut out all gluten and wheat from her diet, which is very hard to do. She has given her people strict instruction to advise staff at venues and restaurants about her new diet because she is taking it very seriously. Her aim is to drop 10lb in a month," a source said.
The 26-year-old singer is thought to be rationing her carbohydrate intake to just two portions a week, and living off a diet mainly consisting of fish, chicken and vegetables. "She allows herself one potato or rice portion a week and has been snacking on Ginnybake cakes from wholefood shops - they are gluten free cookies," the source added.

Heidi Montag’s Plastic Surgeries ‘Weren’t Disastrous’

Heidi Montag doesn't accept that her plastic surgeries were "disastrous."
The former Hills star underwent 10 cosmetic procedures in one day in 2010 and although she wouldn't want to go through the process again she insists the cosmetic procedures went well.
"It could have been really disastrous. I lived and I learned, and I wouldn't really recommend it for other people. It was a lot harder than I thought it would be going through it - physically, mentally, emotionally and the recovery. I'm just glad it's done and that everything healed so well," the 25 year-old said.
Heidi - who married her Hills co-star Spencer Pratt in 2008 - says she has moved on from her troubled time on the MTV show and now feels like a different person. "It was a lot more than I could have expected. I really hate talking about it now because it was so long ago. I was a much different person back then to who I am now," she said.
