Demi Moore's cover over Anja Rubik's runway body

Just when the talk of Demi Moore’s questionable W cover died down, someone out in the internet makes a discovery that brings everything back into the spotlight.

This time, bloggers are pointing to Balmain’s runway model, Anja Rubik, stating that W photo editors swapped Demi’s torso entirely in favor of Rubik’s! Both women (supposedly) wore the Balmain swimsuit with a wrap; however, placing the W cover over the catwalk photo (above) says that perhaps only one of them truly donned the look.

Halle Berry without make-upOscar-winning actress Halle Berry is “too busy” to care about make-up.

The actress is fanatical about looking after her skin, but insists she never worries too much about her appearance and will willingly go out bare-faced.

“I’m not one of those people who opts for plastic surgery, so my philosophy is to take care of what you have. I’m really serious about my skin-care regimen at night. I never ever go to bed - or even nap - with make-up on. I’m a fanatic about skin care, but when it comes to make-up, I’m not. Some days I’ll go out with no make-up on and not even care, because I don’t have the time to be that concerned about it.”

Halle, who has a 19-month-old daughter Nahla with her partner Gabriel Aubry, also said she is wary of wearing too much make-up because of the dangers of looking like a transvestite: “Don’t wear too much makeup, because you can end up looking like a man in drag!”

Pixie Lott tells fans what keeps her skin so smoothWant in on Pixie Lott’s secret to smooth skin? Jump in a bathtub full of coconut oil!

The British songstress, who reached fame with her hit track “Mama Do (Uh Oh, Uh Oh),” keeps her skin smooth and moisturized by using a low-cost body oil in her bath water and directly on her skin for a tan-extending summer skin treatment.

“I use coconut oil in my bath to keep my skin soft and silky, and in summer months after exfoliating it helps preserve my tan.”

The 18-year-old beauty has also perfected her favorite “smokey eyes” look after taking tips from professional make-up artists: “The best tip I’ve learned is, when doing black smokey eyes, work on those before you apply your foundation because the eye shadow can drop and ruin your face.”

The blonde teenager has also blasted those who airbrush photographs, claiming the image-enhancing technique can cause people to feel “inadequate”: “I think airbrushing is something to be wary of. Some people take airbrushed images as gospel and this can sometimes lead to them feeling inadequate by comparison.”

Demi Moore on the questionable W coverDemi Moore has admitted that she’s become really “skinny” in recent months.

The actress was defending her new body shape after it was claimed it had been airbrushed on the front cover of W magazine to make her appear smaller than she really is.

But the Ghost beauty insists she didn’t receive any digital help and says her hips looked slim, because they are slim.

She wrote on her Twitter, “I don’t have any hips. I love the pic and can only say I wish I had good lighting like that following me around all day. My hips were not touched don’t let these people bulls**t you. I am on the skinny side lately (sic).”

A spokesman for the magazine told Jezebel.com the photographers Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott “did not do anything unusual or out of the ordinary on Demi Moore for the photo on the cover of W. Demi is an extraordinary beautiful woman and we feel our cover reflects that.”

Curvy Mariah CareyCelebrities really are like normal people—take Mariah Carey, for instance, who can’t bring herself to maintain a diet.

The “Hero” singer, whose weight has fluctuated in the past, admits that she is prone to piling on the pounds but says she could never deny herself her favorite foods.

“I’m very muscular. So I mustn’t lift weights. I should rather go swimming or do pilates. And of course I should stick to a diet. But I don’t want to do that. I’m always on the go. What could I eat and how would I be able to follow a diet?”

Mariah, 40, also says she would never want to be a size zero and thinks there is too much pressure placed on young girls to be unhealthily skinny: “It’s society’s fault. We grow up with these magazines which are full of size zero models. But people are just people. It’s about personal qualities. I don’t want to be a size zero. And also, I couldn’t be one. My bones would look very ugly. I am the happiest when my curvy parts fit into a US size six.”

Adriana Lima pregnant with ValentinaAdriana Lima has given birth to a daughter.

The Victoria’s Secret model and basketball star Marko Jaric became parents for the first time on Sunday to baby Valentina, who was born in a New York hospital.

A spokesperson for the Brazilian beauty said:, “Adriana and Marko are thrilled to announce they had a baby girl, Valentina Lima Jaric. Mother, father and baby are all doing well.”

The couple have been flooded with messages of congratulations - and even offers for Adriana to return to work. Victoria’s Secret Chief Marketing Officer Ed Razek said: “All of us at Victoria’s Secret are thrilled to welcome Adriana’s own little angel. I jokingly asked her if she wanted to walk the runway in our annual fashion show this Thursday night and, for a minute, I thought she was going to take me up on it! We congratulate her, and wish them all health and well being.”

Adriana, 28, and Marko, 31 married on Valentine’s day this year after dating for three years.

Heidi Klum in Marchesa Supermodel Heidi Klum‘s personal trainer has moved in with her to help get her into shape.

The German supermodel is desperate to shed the weight she gained while pregnant with daughter Lou - her fourth child who was born last month - before a Victoria’s Secret catwalk show next week and has embarked on a grueling diet and exercise regime under the guidance of expert David Kirsch.

A source said, “Heidi’s swapped processed carbs, sugar, dairy and fruit for egg-white omelettes, spinach salads and grilled tuna with quinoa. She’s determined to wow everyone when she walks. She’s pushing herself through gruelling twice-daily workouts.”

Heidi has previously admitted she is struggling to lose her baby weight and finds it much tougher than she did after having her other children, Leni, five, Henri, four, and Johan, three: “I wouldn’t say I’m back in shape yet. Everything changes when you get older. It was different when I was 31 with the first one and now being 36 with the fourth one.”

She is now hitting the treadmill and eating sensibly in a bid to get back in shape as she fears she will remain bigger forever if she doesn’t act now: “I think that if you wait too long and it sticks there it stays that way forever. I have to be motivated.”

Gemma Ward on a recent outing in New YorkWhile the news isn’t necessarily a shock due to her absence from the runways and ad campaigns, model Gemma Ward has officially announced via her agency that she is to quit modeling.

“Gemma hasn’t committed to returning to modeling at any time soon,” a spokeswoman said.

The announcement comes after photos of the model/actress having gained a few sizes appeared online, accumulating a mixed slew of supportive and awful comments from readers. Many speculate that her weight gain and departure are due to the death of Heath Ledger, whom she was romantically linked to shortly before that January day.

I find it sad that for Ward, a model who was constantly attacked early in her career for being too skinny, is now under fire for being too heavy! It’s not as if she’s doing any modeling work; even if she did, who cares if someone decides to hire a model of a more average dress size?

She ought to go back to acting, in my opinion. She creeped me out as Dollface in The Strangers and has garnered plenty of positive criticism for her role in The Black Balloon.

Alec Baldwin shares the Holiday EW cover with Meryl StreepWhile it’s obvious that women of all ages—no matter how gorgeous—talk plastic surgery, actor Alec Baldwin doesn’t quite rule out the trend nor fear his age, either.

“I’m not saying I wouldn’t do something! I intend to do something. I probably will. Let’s put it this way: I wouldn’t rule it out because… You don’t think I wake up every day and wish I looked like this and this and this? But I can’t let that bother me.”

Considering he’s 51 and hasn’t gone under the knife just yet (at least, that we know of…), I would say that he’s doing pretty well on his own. Granted, he’s no Robert Pattinson, but the guy has aged better than some of his fellow peers (Mickey Rourke, anyone?).

And hey, he’s got some assets he still admires! “I have a great ass, if I may say so. That’s a part of my body that needs no surgical enhancement or rearranging.”

Baldwin’s female It’s Complicated co-star, Meryl Streep, has a different opinion on cosmetic enhancements: “Well, if you’ve ever even contemplated that stuff and looked at what can go wrong in any of those magazines, it’s terrifying! Every part of your life is chronicled, [so] if something mysteriously looks better, [everyone will notice].”

Natalie Portman on the cover of V magazineDoes Natalie Portman ever look bad? I didn’t think so, but someone at V magazine felt compelled enough to ask the actress how she feels about plastic surgery.

“I would hope not,” she responds, when questioned whether she would submit to what seems to be a Hollywood standard these days. She does, however, admit to thinking about approaching 40 (despite having over a decade until she reaches that hill): “You see people who were stars five years ago and already they’re waning. As actresses approach 40, it starts becoming really, really difficult.”

Photographer Mario Testino shot the images, which recall an androgynous look for the woman who still looked hot without her hair. In the images (seen after the jump), Portman evokes Lady Gaga’s pantsless trend in one and rocks a bustier with some major shoulder bling in another.

The magazine’s Winter 2009/2010 issue is on newsstands now.
