Crystal Renn at Chanel Spring/Summer 2011Plus size model has stormed the catwalks of Paris Fashion Week.

The curvaceous beauty flaunted her size 14 figure on the runways of legendary French fashion houses and Jean Paul Gaultier. After walking for the Zac Posen ZSpoke show at New York Fashion Week last month, the model has revealed being treated like “any other girl” in Paris has been an “amazing” experience.

“This has been one of the most amazing times of my life. I’ve done one show before, usually as a special guest, but to be working this much is incredible. Being treated as one of the pack, not the plus size model, is a real breakthrough. I’m here being treated like any other girl. It doesn’t matter my size. It doesn’t matter who I am. I’m going on castings like everybody else.”

Crystal admitted the fashion industry is becoming increasingly accepting of those who stray away from the model norm: “I’m still different from most of the girls at the castings but when I first started, the girls were all blonde, all emaciated and miserable looking. Now, there’s more ethnic diversity. The girls are not as skinny as before. You do see size 10s and a couple size 12s. There is change happening in the industry. There is more allowance for people to be different. I’m so impressed. I can’t wait for next season.”

Amy Winehouse agreed to design a 17-item clothing range for Fred Perry so she could create pieces which would fit her.

The petite singer is a big fan of the British fashion house’s garments, but after losing weight and becoming a US size 2, found they no longer fitted her.

“When I started eating right, I lost quite a lot of weight. Everyone thinks it was because my eating habits got a lot better and I came to my natural weight. Fred Perry is my be-all and end-all. I’ve always loved it, always worn it, it feels like a living dream. I’m not really skinny but I’m tiny and I couldn’t get anything because they didn’t do a size 6.”

It was recently claimed Amy had been receiving tips for her fashion line from actress after they enjoyed a night out in London pub The Hawley Arms together.

“The pair were certainly new best friends for the night and were inseparable at The Hawley. They were chatting and giggling like school kids over drinks and talking fashion non-stop. Amy has designed a range for Fred Perry so was bending Mischa’s ear about style and Mischa was gushing about how much she loved Amy’s music,” a source said.

Pregnant Lily Allen at Givenchy—A pregnant Lily Allen showed up at Givenchy in some chic pregnancy wear. True to Fall/Winter looks, she kept it simple and Parisian with a gray long coat, white blouse, and black pumps.

Glee star Lea Michele has become quite the fashion darling, striking a pose with Zac Posen. With her nude robe-like dress, I’d say that she has some more styling etiquette to learn.

—Alber Elbaz is probably the sweetest, most caring designer. The Lanvin creative gave his models the option of wearing comfy gladiator sandals (at the last minute!) for his Spring/Summer 2011 show.

—After scoring Vogue Paris‘s coveted 90th anniversary cover, Lara Stone is right back on Vogue—this time, it’s in her native UK mag.

—Finally taking a cue from some sensible publicists, American Apparel attempts to save the brand’s image in some new ads that feature a less-creepy Dov in the face of their financial woes. He just still couldn’t resist shooting the ads in his bed.

—Traditional and iconic American swimsuit model Marisa Miller changes things up for 944, sporting a dark bob wig and gloves—a far cry from her usual California-esque look.

Jordin Sparks' perfume

Jordin Sparks is launching her own affordable perfume. The 20-year-old singer has revealed she decided to create the scent titled Because of You, because she thinks celebrity perfumes are too expensive for ordinary fans.

“When I was starting this project, I really wanted it to be affordable. I looked at some other celebrity fragrances, and they were like $80. Even now, I look at a fragrance that’s $80, and I can’t bring myself to spend that much. In this economy especially, my fans deserve a high-quality, reasonably priced scent.”

Kelly OsbourneFashion police cried after her first bikini shoot.

The TV star - who has dropped to a US size 2 following her appearance on last year’s - admitted she was so “thrilled” by her svelte figure, she was reduced to tears.

“I just shot the cover of Shape magazine, which as such an incredible experience. I have never worn a bikini in my life before yesterday. I never even thought of wearing one! I cried when I saw the picture. Everyone that was there, we all just burst into tears. It was a thrilling experience.”

The newly-single blonde - who ended her engagement with Luke Worrall in July amid claims the model had cheated on her - explained while she finds sticking to her new exercise regime easy, she still can’t believe sample sizes fit her.

“I just commit to half an hour a day. It doesn’t seem overwhelming and I can handle that. I do half an hour on the treadmill and when I feel like doing more, I’ll do a few sit-ups and some weights. Now every designer will send me anything that I want, and I can’t believe that I am in this situation. I opened up all of these zip bags last night from Marchesa - off the runway -  and I can’t believe that it fits me.”

Beth Ditto for John Paul GaultierBeth Ditto walked the catwalk for Jean-Paul Gaultier at on Saturday.

The Gossip singer - a size 26 - opened the eccentric designer’s ready-to-wear show with an a cappella performance, and also returned to close the showcase of punk-inspired outfits in one of his flamboyant creations. To a rapturous reception, the designer himself then took to the runway to present the outspoken singer with a bouquet of pink roses and a glass of champagne.

Ditto is currently preparing for the launch of her second collection for UK plus-size retailer Evans. Speaking about the new line, an Evans spokesperson recently said, “It will be Victorian mixed with 80s punk, through to 40s vintage with a noughties modern edge.”

Beth has previously spoken about the importance of larger women being creative with clothes in order to flatter their body shape: “I don’t understand all these women who say they feel betrayed by fashion. A piece of clothing can’t talk - it can’t tell you that you can’t have it - so really, you’re just telling yourself that. You make yourself the victim, because if you want clothes that bad, then make them yourself. You have to get creative if you’re fat. I’m really good at turning a belt into a necklace, and I can always find a nice pair of earrings.”

Katy Perry at a concert in HungaryWhether or not you’re a fan of latex-loving , one has to admit that it’s refreshing to see a celebrity with a different body type who is confident in her skin—especially when unflattering photos of certain “too thin” celebs seem like they’ve run rampant in gossip magazines lately.

One story that recently ran in the Daily Mail featured the above picture of Perry, writing that her dress “clung in all the wrong places” and “was definitely unflattering,” leading them to write, “Usually Katy looks a million dollars, but apparently even she has her off days.”

While unflattering images of celebrities caught off guard ring in my head (makeup-less Lady Gaga at the beach, Madonna’s pre-Photoshop ads), this picture of Katy definitely didn’t seem to fit into the pattern.

Again, while I’m not much of a Perry fan—her style is too childish and bright for my taste—I must admit that she looks pretty amazing in the extremely short dresses she’s now famous for. Then again, why should I be surprised in the first place that a tabloid is changing its opinion on the healthy body type in the first place?

SugababesThe Sugababes are launching a fashion range.

The girl band - made up of Heidi Range, Jade Ewen and Amelle Berrabah - are bringing out their own clothing line hot on the heels of their last month.

“We’ve just brought out our perfume and, yeah, we have something coming out soon, basically a fashion range. We’re excited about it! All the details will be confirmed soon,” Jade said.

The group recently launched three fragrances - Tempt, Tease and Touch - although insisted they weren’t a reflection of their personalities.

“There are three different scents, they are not specific to each of us but we thought as women you like to wear perfume for different occasions and for different times of the day, so we covered all areas,” Heidi said.

Amelle added, “We were really hands on with the development of these three scents.”

Eva LongoriaActress thinks that her perfume is the perfect way to attract a man.

The star launched her debut fragrance, Eva by Eva Longoria, in April, and believes men all over the world will love the scent and want their partners to wear it all the time.

“I want him to devour the woman that’s smelling my fragrance. If he smells my fragrance he should jump on that woman.”

One man who is definitely impressed with the fragrance is Eva’s husband, basketball player Tony Parker: “He loves it. He also is not a very big fan of overpowering scents and so he loves it because this one is really light and subtle.”

Eva says she was keen to create the perfume - which blends citrus notes, jasmine, violet and amber - because she hadn’t worn fragrances for years as she was allergic to them. “I was always envious of my friends who could always wear all this perfume.so that’s when I decided to create Eva,” she said.

Miranda Kerr for Balenciaga took to the catwalk for Balenciaga yesterday, despite being five months pregnant.

The Australian model was watched by husband Orlando Bloom at the show, with other celebrities including Charlotte Gainsbourg and Salma Hayek taking in the designs by Nicolas Ghesquiere.

The collection was hard on utilitarianism - applique body panels, cocoon coats and riveted leather belts made a strong showing on the runway, with Ghesquiere revealing he wanted a wet look to the clothes.

“I wanted to make everything look as though it had been in the rain.”

Miranda was not the only big name to walk the runway for Balenciaga - Brazilian beauty also made waves in a white ensemble with a see-through skirt.
