Daphne Guinness-- With her trademark red lips, it's about time a cosmetic company snatched Gwen Stefani up as their celebrity spokesperson! The singer-turned-fashion designer signed a contract with L'Oreal Paris; her full commercial will air during the Golden Globes.

-- Speaking of lips, Lindsay Lohan was spotted at the gym again (better there than at alcohol-infested locations), only this time her mouth looked detachable. I wonder if she's taking cues from her friend Kim Kardashian and blaming it on the flu...

-- Proenza Schouler released their second ever ad campaign. They're like the Givenchy ads, but with a splash of color. Thoughts?

-- If you're the least bit in love with fashion and you live in London, you ought to see Daphne Guinness speak at the Royal Academy on the 27th of the month. There's no other lecture on earth that could be greater than the psychology of clothes: "I once read an article in which a psychologist explained that, when we say we 'have nothing to wear,' it really means that we have nothing that expresses who we want to be that day," said the RA events and lectures manager Dr. Alison Bracker.

Tom Ford says women of all ages and sizes can wear his clothes.

The designer launched his first womenswear collection in six years in 2010 with a star-studded fashion show, and while many of the models were A-list names, Tom insists his creations suit every type of female.

Khloe and Kim KardashianThe Kardashian sisters have signed a fashion deal with department store Sears. Kourtney, Kim and Khloe have teamed up with the retail giants to create a clothing and accessories line, The Kardashian Kollection, which will be aimed at Sears customers aged 17 to 35.

"It helps us cater to our fans and to make sure that everyone can have access to The Kardashian Kollection," Kim said of the collection.

Kourtney added, "We love Sears. There is a Sears right near our house. It's such a great store that is part of America's retail history."

John Goodman, executive vice president of apparel and home for Sears Holdings, told WWD, "We have spent the past year and a half really looking to build a junior business, and we have been happy about where our junior business has gone. Lindsay Lohan 6126 ShoesLindsay Lohan has begun creating "timeless" shoes for her 6126 collection.

The 24-year-old actress, who was recently released from a three-month enforced stay at the Betty Ford rehab clinic in California, is working on a "glamorous" collection of footwear with business partner Kristi Kaylor, who reveals the actress is heavily involved in their design.

"I took inspiration from old Hollywood glamour and added a modern edge. It was key to make comfortable, timeless shoes that can easily go from day to night and feel cool, chic and glamorous," Lindsay said.

Kristi added, "She comes to meetings with tears, photos and fabrics. She brings her own shoes in to show specifics. She's ultra-prepared, all the time."

The troubled star hopes the shoes will be the kind women can wear from season to season and be hard-wearing. "They're timeless. You're buying an over-the-knee boot to wear for years," Kristi said.

Rumer Willis for Badgley MischkaWell, you have got to give the girl an A for effort. Rumer Willis, spawn of Demi Moore and Bruce Willis-turned-actress, is definitely paving her own path to stardom. What better way to do so than scoring an ad campaign for one of today's hottest labels?

Willis, 22, fronts Badgley Mischka's Spring/Summer 2011 campaign sporting three looks against a beachy paradise background.

While she undoubtedly looks much better in these photos than usual, the decision in choosing her to model the high-end gowns is rather off-putting. With dozens of other more talented and capable models in the industry (or even celebrities, for that matter!), it comes off slightly pathetic, knowing that the gig was awarded because of her parentage.

Am I being a little harsh? Perhaps. But when you compare her ads to the likes of all the other campaigns that have been released lately, her presence in the photos brings down the quality of the campaign.

The woman is definitely no Georgia May Jagger.

Check out the rest of the photos after the jump and decide for yourself.

Leighton Meester-- Natalie Portman  is stunning in her Christian Dior ad for the fragrance Miss Dior. Knowing that she's an animal rights activist, I can't help but feel reminded of the "I'd Rather Be Naked" campaign...

-- Sasha Pivovarova returns to Miucci Prada's fashionable arms in her Miu Miu Spring/Summer 2011 ads, shot by Mert and Marcus.

-- Take that, Blake! Not to be outshined by her Gossip Girl co-star's Chanel gig, Leighton Meester strikes a pose for Missoni. When there's a will to do high fashion, there's a way.

-- Lindsey Wixson gets in front of Terry Richardson's lens for Opening Ceremony's Spring/Summer 2011 lookbook. Apparently, Terry can do cute and adorable without being sleazy.

-- Speaking of Richardson, Paris Hilton (remember her?) posted a picture of the two on her Twitter, propagating the news that she's going to be in a Vogue editorial -- Vogue Turkey, that is.

Lindsay Wixson for Alexander McQueen

Lindsey Wixson is the new face of Alexander McQueen. The 16-year-old model will star in the label's new Spring/Summer 2011 brand images, which will appear in stores, billboards and on the fashion house's website.

In the shots, Lindsey - who has appeared in campaigns for Versace - has her hair neatly woven into a lattice-like plait and wears a sleeveless printed dress with delicate scalloped edges, set against a backdrop of butterflies. The campaign is the first one to have been directed by Sarah Burton, who took over as the label's creative director following the tragic suicide of Alexander McQueen last February.

Katie Holmes for Ann Taylor

Katie Holmes has been named as the new face of Ann Taylor. The stunning actress will front the fashion house's Spring/Summer 2011 advertising campaign, which will begin in March.

The nautical-inspired collection will see updates on a number of classic designs from the brand, including tailored trousers, sleek jackets and lots of navy and white stripes. The range will also include bright yellow and green citrine-shade handbags and shoes, which are featured in the ads with Katie in them.

Alber Elbaz

"It's not that I don't like technology. My brain just doesn't capture it. I cannot drive, I cannot bike, nor do email. My boyfriend of 18 years thinks I stayed with him all these years because he helps me with the remote control."

-- Lanvin designer Alber Elbaz describes the extent of his technological capabilities.

Carine Roitfeld, Karl Lagerfeld, and Emmanuelle alt

Karl Lagerfeld thinks that Emmanuelle Alt will blossom in her new role at French Vogue.

The Chanel designer says he is a fan of the 41-year-old - who was recently named as the publication's new editor-in-chief - and thinks she has what it takes to be Carine's Roitfeld's replacement.

"Her style is her big shoulders, long legs, tight jeans, sleeves up to the elbow, one hip out. I personally like her. She's a handsome French woman. She has a style, but is it enough to make a whole magazine? As editor-in-chief, she may blossom."
