Christina AguileraChristina Aguilera once felt forced to be a tiny size zero.

The "Your Body" singer - who has been criticized for her curvier figure recently - has opened up about the pressure to be thin in the music industry and claims her record company once staged an intervention to get her to lose weight.

The 31-year-old The Voice judge told Billboard magazine, "During the promotion of my album Stripped, I got tired of being a skinny, white girl. I am Ecuadorian but people felt so safe passing me off as a skinny, blue-eyed white girl. The next time my label saw me, I was heavier, darker and full of piercings. Let me tell you, that wasn't an easy pill for them to swallow. I had gained about 15 pounds during promotion and during my Stripped tour. They called this serious emergency meeting about how there was a lot of backlash about my weight. Basically, they told me I would affect a lot of people if I gained weight -- the production, musical directors. [They claimed] people I toured with would also miss out if I gained weight because I would sell no records or tickets for my shows. I was young, so I lost the weight quickly and was toothpick thin during Back to Basics promos and touring."

Duchess Catherine and Prince William

Britain's Duchess Catherine designs some of her own clothes. The duchess wore a yellow broderie anglaise sundress on her recent South Pacific tour, and it has now emerged it was a piece specially-commissioned by Queen Elizabeth's tailors, based on the royal's own ideas.

"This dress was a piece commissioned by Kate. She likes to have a few pieces that are one-offs and that she has had some input in, so she asked the queen's tailors for some help. They worked on it together after she went to them with ideas of color, fabric and style," a source told Grazia.

Daphne GuinnessDaphne Guinness has been ordered to pay her neighbors substantial damages.

A New York judge has ruled the fashion designer responsible for flooding Karim and Tina Samii's $8 million apartment - located below her own property in the former Stanhope Hotel in Manhattan - after allowing her bath water to overflow on three separate occasions.

"All I have ever wanted is to make amends and make this right. I've always been happy to pay for their damage, and have already been doing so. I would never intentionally flood their apartment. I by no means want to be a bad neighbor. I have totally waterproofed the place and now it is the safest apartment in New York," the style icon told The New York Post.

Justice Richard Braun rejected her neighbors' bid to secure $1 million in damages amid claims they felt "terrorized" and suffered "emotional distress" at the hands of the socialite. Their bid to secure a court order to prevent her from ever bathing in her property again was also denied.

Lady GagaLady Gaga has "no intention" of hiding her weight gain.

The "Marry The Night" hitmaker recently revealed she had gained 25 pounds after over-eating at her father's New York restaurant, and while she has come under criticism, she is refusing to cover-up.

"She has no intention of going on a diet or hiding under baggy clothes until she loses some weight. That just isn't her style. She tells her fans to love themselves and that is something that she doesn't just preach," a source told The Huffington Post.

However, she also believes some of the gain has been in muscle after dancing on stage on her Born This Way world tour. "She has said before that when she's on tour she gets muscular. If you look at pictures from the start and the end of her tours you can see that. It's not a look she says she really likes, but after working out onstage like she does, it happens naturally. There is nothing she can do about it," the source added.

Kelly Osbourne at the EmmysKelly Osbourne fits into clothes "even supermodels can't." The reality TV star's favorite body part is her small waist, which allows her to fit into extremely small sizes of clothing.

"I have an exceptionally small waist for my body shape and size, so I can fit into garments that even supermodels can't," she said.

However, Kelly's least favorite body part is just below, as she doesn't like her thighs. Asked for her least favorite body part, she added, "It's probably my thighs. I look at other girls and they have matchstick legs, but mine have always been toned and muscular."

The 27-year-old star has sported a much trimmer figure in recent years, which she credits to changing her diet for good, rather than dieting. "If you want to live healthily you have to make a life change and stop doing certain things. Otherwise you starve yourself and as soon as you get to your goal weight you go back to eating the way you were before and put it all back on. You have to commit," she explained.

Gwyneth PaltrowGwyneth Paltrow uses elastic bands to keep fit.

The 39-year-old actress is a client of fitness guru Tracy Anderson and the exercise expert has lifted the lid on the workout regime that keeps Gwyneth slim.

Tracy says the Iron Man 2 star follows her "Method" regime six times per week, which involves the use of elastic stretch bands, a wooden workout stick, dumbbells and ankle weights to shift the pounds. Tracy insists the reason why Gwyneth - who has an eight-year-old daughter, Apple and six-year-old son Moses with her rocker husband Chris Martin - looks so great is because she is very "disciplined" and is prepared to put in the hours and hard work to look good.

"Gwyneth is uncoordinated during workouts, but she's disciplined," she said.

David Williams and Lara StoneLara Stone's friends laugh at her for being married.

The 28-year-old supermodel - who tied the knot with 41-year-old comic David Walliams in May 2010 after eight months of dating - admits her former hard-partying ways meant many of her pals never expected she would settle down.

"My friends still make fun of me for being wed. They find it so hard to believe. Even four years back they wouldn't have expected it. It was quite unexpected, but it has made me happy. I feel secure. It's really calming somehow. We both have such random jobs, it is not mundane. He doesn't go to the office while I cook him dinner, so I don't feel like I have to be too grown up about the whole thing," she said.

Although she and David are very happy together, Lara isn't ready to have children just yet - because she and her spouse are so smitten with their dog Bert, who the Little Britain star gave to his wife in February.

Lady Gaga in Paris

While Lady Gaga had seemed to tone down her outrageous looks lately, the pop singer stepped out in Paris looking far from normal and more like she came straight out of a children's puppet show.

Whether it's to hide her recent weight gain, to comment on it, or to offset her current relatively normal hair style, the "Marry the Night" singer was quite easy to spot in the French capital. Pairing her Snuggie-like dress with electric blue platforms and gag-like shades, is she paving the path for a future trend or is this just pure shock factor?

Jessica Simpson with her husbandJessica Simpson is hurt by cruel taunts about her weight.

The Fashion Star mentor has been paid four million dollars by Weight Watchers to lose the weight she put on after giving birth to her first child Maxwell in May and promote their brand and although she has dropped 40lbs in four months, her cruel detractors have hit out at her for not losing the remaining 40 already.

"For years, Jessica has been OK with her body and everyone loved her for that. But now she's not feeling the love and she doesn't like it. She's trying to conceal her hurt feelings with humor right now. She uses jokes and goofiness to hide the fact that she's really sensitive," a source said.

Jessica unveiled her weight loss on TV last week and pals say she worked incredibly hard since giving birth to lose the extra weight. "The past few weeks were really difficult because the pressure was enormous. She knew everyone would be judging her. She was proud of her progress so to face all these cruel taunts now, it stings," the source added to In Touch.

Ricki LakeRicki Lake doesn't want to be skinny anymore.

While the TV chat show host has battled with her weight for years, she says getting to 120lbs during her time as a contestant on Dancing With The Stars' didn't make her happy and she is glad she has put back on some of the pounds she shed during training for the celebrity dance contest last year.

"During DWTS I was dancing seven hours a day. Now I'm not. When I was 120 I wasn't healthy. I didn't feel great," she said.

Another reason Ricki is so happy with her body these days is her new husband Christian Evans - whom she married in April - has helped her become more confident. "I went on my honeymoon and got healthy. My husband loves me and tells me I'm beautiful no matter what size I am," she explained.

Ricki, 43, has long battled with her weight, reaching 260lbs when she was 22, and later said childhood abuse contributed to her problems. When she was 24, she shed over 100lbs but admitted it wasn't a healthy weight loss. "That was not healthy. I was starving myself. I was fainting. It worked, it was effective, but it wasn't the healthiest way to do it," she has previously said.
