Vivienne Westwood Menswear Fall/Winter 2011Vivienne Westwood's menswear collection was a hit at Milan Menswear Fashion Week yesterday.

The British designer managed to bring a touch of fun to the showcase as she sent her male models - wearing the brand's Fall/Winter 2011 designs - down the catwalk sporting slicked back hair and crimson lipstick. The streamlined collection included checks, 50s tailoring, patterned knits and elaborate prints.

Marni and Emporio Armani also showcased their collections yesterday while Missoni focused on bright colors and vivid prints, with an eye-catching raincoat one of the highlights.

Burberry Prorsum and Roberto Cavalli opened Milan Menswear Fashion Week on Saturday with Dolce & Gabbana using the color red to brighten up their designs. Milan will finish today with shows by Gucci, Versace and Pringle of Scotland, but all eyes will be on Sarah Burton as she shows her second Alexander McQueen men's range after enjoying rave reviews last year.

Paris Menswear Fashion Week will kick off on Wednesday with the Thierry Mugler show where Lady Gaga has been confirmed as "musical director."

Kim Kardashian at this year's Critic's Choice Movie Awards

Is she wearing her Halloween costume backwards?

Reality star and entrepreneur Kim Kardashian appeared at the Critics' Choice Movie Awards (why anyone asked her to present a movie award is probably the better question) in a burnt orange Vera Wang gown looking like a wrinkly mess that crawled out from under the sea.

Should her family be arrested on the grounds that they allowed her to go out in public like this, or is it a nice change for the usually cleavage-happy Kardashian?

Behold -- the first look at Nicola Formichetti's first collection as creative director of Thierry Mugler. Cue angelic music.

Okay, okay, so Paris Men's Fashion Week is only a week away, but who can resist when the label preys upon our internet generation's insatiable hunger for images?

Especially when you put out a creepy, weird photo like this one. He may have Gareth Pugh running for his money! Trying quelling any and all thoughts related to Lady Gaga and let me know what you think.

Giles Deacon designing

"Cruise collections are like a croissant or tagliatelle — they're the bread and butter of your wardrobe. They're becoming more and more like full collections. Customers want new products through the seasons and you have keep them wanting more. If you want to stay relevant in this industry you have to keep upping the ante."

Robert Duffy and Marc JacobsFashionistas can breathe easy: Marc Jacobs has no intention of leaving Louis Vuitton.

Robert Duffy - who has worked with the designer for 27 years - says Marc loves working as the fashion house's creative director and is planning to stay. "We are in the process of confirming new contracts, but it's not like hard negotiations are going on. There's an understanding that we want it to continue and they want it to continue. I haven't heard otherwise and I know that Marc especially loves working there. Louis Vuitton is an incredible brand and Marc loves, loves, loves working with them. He loves the energy there. His focus is really on the Louis Vuitton collection - ready-to-wear, accessories, everything - and on Marc Jacobs womenswear."

Robert also revealed that although Marc has "mood swings," working with him is like being part of a "family" and he can't imagine being without him professionally.

"We're definitely like a family. I'm the dad and Marc is the crazy mother! It's like 'How is she today?', 'How are her mood swings?'! We have always worked together, for 27 years, and I don't think we'll ever go our separate ways. We've both done projects separately, of course, when we've been really broke or when we've been fired, but we just know each other so well now."

Devon Aoki with fiance James BaileyFrom model to actress to mother -- Devon Aoki is pregnant.

The 28-year-old model is expecting her first child with financier fiance James Bailey, and the pair are thrilled at the prospect of becoming parents.

"Devon and James are extremely happy. They became engaged over the summer, and she has just found out she is pregnant," her representative said.

Devon, who is the heiress to a large fortune as her father founded the Benihana chain of restaurants, began modeling at 13 and took over from Naomi Campbell as the face of Versace when she was 16. She then ventured into acting appearing in films such as Sin City and 2 Fast 2 Furious.

When she first burst onto the modeling scene, she was touted as the new Kate Moss and while she has never achieved the same success, Devon has huge admiration for the 36-year-old beauty: "I have a lot of love for her. I hate all the bad publicity she has had over the past year, because she is a wonderful person - she is a true icon."

Daphne Guinness-- With her trademark red lips, it's about time a cosmetic company snatched Gwen Stefani up as their celebrity spokesperson! The singer-turned-fashion designer signed a contract with L'Oreal Paris; her full commercial will air during the Golden Globes.

-- Speaking of lips, Lindsay Lohan was spotted at the gym again (better there than at alcohol-infested locations), only this time her mouth looked detachable. I wonder if she's taking cues from her friend Kim Kardashian and blaming it on the flu...

-- Proenza Schouler released their second ever ad campaign. They're like the Givenchy ads, but with a splash of color. Thoughts?

-- If you're the least bit in love with fashion and you live in London, you ought to see Daphne Guinness speak at the Royal Academy on the 27th of the month. There's no other lecture on earth that could be greater than the psychology of clothes: "I once read an article in which a psychologist explained that, when we say we 'have nothing to wear,' it really means that we have nothing that expresses who we want to be that day," said the RA events and lectures manager Dr. Alison Bracker.
