Some stars will pay big bucks for a new pair of worn-in jeans. Others will achieve that distressed look the hard way.
According to Zac Efron, his days during HSM 3 were spent multi-tasking. For eight straight weeks, the actor sported the exact same pair of G-Star jeans.
“I wore them all throughout High School Musical 3,” he admitted to WWD. “I even wore them hiking. You have to wear them everywhere to get them right.”
After two months of battering, Efron’s goal was eventually accomplished: the denim lost its stiffness and starting exposing “yellow whiskers.”
Let’s just hope that pair was washed at some point.

Gemma Ward Walks Away From Modeling

While the news isn’t necessarily a shock due to her absence from the runways and ad campaigns, model Gemma Ward has officially announced via her agency that she is to quit modeling.
“Gemma hasn’t committed to returning to modeling at any time soon,” a spokeswoman said.
The announcement comes after photos of the model/actress having gained a few sizes appeared online, accumulating a mixed slew of supportive and awful comments from readers. Many speculate that her weight gain and departure are due to the death of Heath Ledger, whom she was romantically linked to shortly before that January day.
I find it sad that for Ward, a model who was constantly attacked early in her career for being too skinny, is now under fire for being too heavy! It’s not as if she’s doing any modeling work; even if she did, who cares if someone decides to hire a model of a more average dress size?
She ought to go back to acting, in my opinion. She creeped me out as Dollface in The Strangers and has garnered plenty of positive criticism for her role in The Black Balloon.

In a quick, 30-second glance at Lady Gaga‘s music video for “Bad Romance,” the fashionista takes to a white bodysuit with a built-in Burger King crown that covers her entire body, save her lips. Kinda creepy.
Miss Gaga seems to have taken a liking to bodysuits; at least the one in the video appears to cover all her parts properly. We also get to see her face sans makeup and/or masks in some shots!

After having finally been accepted into the fashion industry with her successful collection, Victoria Beckham is already moving on to grander ventures: the modeling world.
Rumor has it that the former Spice Girl is in talks with her manager Simon Fuller, who has half of the controlling stake in London-based Storm Models, to open up a modeling agency based in New York City (from London to L.A. to New York City, Victoria seems to have homes all over the globe!).
“Simon knows that Victoria is very savvy when it comes to fashion. Simon’s first foray into fashion was to team up Roland Mouret and Victoria, which was a huge success. Victoria is a key asset to Simon and he wants her to take on a major role,” an insider said.
Thus, Victoria’s path to world domination slowly begins.

The impossible has been done: UGG boots got uglier. I didn’t think it feasible until I found this picture of X Factor contestant Stacey Solomon, who stepped out in this season’s new UGG boots.
Not only are the boots monochrome striped (Beetlejuice, anyone?), but they are knitted! I refuse to accept the “They’re comfortable” excuse—there’s absolutely no reason to be caught wearing these in public, especially if they look like winter socks.

Fresh-faced Georgia Jagger is proud of her gapped-tooth smile.
The 17-year-old model, daughter of Rolling Stones legend Sir Mick Jagger and supermodel Jerry Hall, doesn’t want to undergo dental procedures to have her teeth corrected as she thinks it gives her a unique look.
“I think my gap adds character. A while ago on the street, a guy yelled, ‘You could stick a gold through your front teeth.’ Which meant I could put a £1 coin between them. But you can’t, I’ve tried. 50 pence coins and two pence coins, yes. But not a pound.”
