Lea Michele Leads the Pink Fashion Pack at Golden Globes
Lea Michele led the way at this year's Golden Globes by looking stunning in pink.
The Glee actress wowed onlookers at the prestigious ceremony in Los Angeles' Beverly Hilton Hotel Sunday night in a ruffled asymmetric Oscar de la Renta gown, which showed off her figure perfectly.
Pink proved to be a popular color, with Best Actress winner Natalie Portman, Julianne Moore, Claire Danes and Megan Fox all donning a different shade. Speaking of her hot pink Alber Elbaz-Lanvin gown, Julianne - who was nominated in the Best Supporting Actress (Comedy) category - said, "Alber phoned about 15 minutes after I was nominated. He said over the phone, 'How do you feel about pink?' and I said, 'Yeah, whatever.' "
Natalie - who is pregnant with her first child - said she fell in love with her pale pink Viktor and Rolf gown as soon as she saw it. "It was one of the only ones I tried on. It was so beautiful, we realized nothing else would compare."
Another color that proved popular was green with Catherine Zeta-Jones, Angelina Jolie and Mila Kunis all wearing it, as was yellow. While the red carpet was full of color, some stars stuck to tried-and-tested black with Annette Bening, Halle Berry and Eva Longoria all opting for it. Other celebrities who stood out were Sandra Bullock and Scarlett Johansson, who both looked stunning in pale beaded gowns.
