Kate Moss and Her Testino Book
Mario Testino and Kate Moss are producing a book together.
The limited-edition photographic collection - entitled Kate Moss by Mario Testino - will be released this summer by publishers Tachen and will be limited to just 1,500 signed copies. The 128-page boxed hardcover book will retail for around $475.
Kate - who has a seven-year-old daughter Lila Grace with ex-boyfriend Jefferson Hack - recently posed nude for her current beau, The Kills rocker Jamie Hince. The 36-year-old supermodel stripped off for a series of sexy black and white images - where she is wearing nothing but a German Kaiser helmet - taken by the musician.
“Kate is very proud of them and is considering whether to exhibit them or not.”
While the British catwalk beauty makes up her mind about whether or not to display the photographs, they are being looked after by her friend Rose Ferguson and her husband Jake Chapman. While Kate is thinking about showing off her pictures, an exhibition dedicated to her career was recently cancelled.
In September 2008, Paris museum Musee des Arts Decoratifs announced it would have a show in homage of the supermodel and explore the myth behind her. The exhibition was set to include images of Kate, which have been taken by some of the world’s greatest photographers over the past 20 years. It was due to be opened last November, but it was temporarily postponed due to lack of funds. Now the museum has announced that “given the economic situation,” it is no longer planning to stage it at all.
