Sorry that there have not been many posts here on Dropping Dimes this week. Hopefully you are gearing up for head-to-head playoffs next week, or setting your team to cruise control in a roto league. Let’s catch up on last night’s action.
Sorry there’s no picture and Fig Cap…I’m late for work!
Still no Joe Johnson, as the Heat played the Hawks.
Josh Smith was huge again, but Jason Williams dished the rock. (21 pts and 8 ast)
Meanwhile the Raps beat the Magic, for whom Grant Hill brought game (24 pts, 8/9 FT)
But CB4 was on fire, and TJ was built Ford tough again (Bosh: 34 and 16, Ford: 16 pts, 12 ast)
The Bobcats beat the Celts, and who is Walter Herrmann?
Well he came back to earth, but stepping up was Kendrick Perkins.
Al Jeff was strong again, and Crash sprinkled stats here and there.
While the ‘Stache was one-for-seven, in case you can still care.
It’s gettin’, it’s gettin’, it’s gettin’ pretty hectic.
Bogut and Charlie V are done, so it’s time to change tactics.
Bucks lost by one to the Clips, but if you want your team to be a winner.
Know that Brand was good as always, but so was Brian Skinner. (11 pts, 11 rebs, 3 blks)
The West tops the East, as the Mavs beat the Cavs by eight.
Josh Howard was in a slump, but Dirk and JT were great.
Lebron finished well, though he struggled with his shot.
Drew Gooden scored 19, but as usual…no blocks.
The Spurs are heating up, and for them it’s more the same.
Tim Duncan added 27, and two blocks to his name.
The Pacers are off the pace, no one was really good.
The whole team was shooting blanks, time to leave the hardwood.
Kevin Garnett was solid, and there’s a Foye sighting,
while Big Nasty and ‘Reef are gaining value while starting.
Brad Miller sat out with plantar fasciitis.
Another injury might have you wincing as you see this.
Here’s Gilbert Arenas, and this is his story.
He wears number zero, but he’s definitely worthy. (42 pts, 7 ast, 2 stl)
No Ray Allen, and there was no Caron,
It’s not like Marvin Gaye when I ask, what’s going on?
Peace.
