Dropping Dimes Expert League Update
Just to keep all of you readers updated with the happenings of the Dropping Dimes crew, I thought it would be best to give you a well-timed update on the DroppingDimes Expert League.
With much attribution to Baron Davis, Manu Ginobili, Marcus Camby and Mo Williams, I was able to gain a few games and knot things up with Dr. A over at Rotoworld. He has a sick team, so I don’t expect to stay with him the entire time, but it was nice to gain ground on a week that didn’t feature any really huge games from Kevin Garnett.
Honorable mention goes to Jamario Moon who put up 31 points, 30 boards, four steals and five blocks on the week. Well done, sir.
Roster For This Week:
PG - Baron Davis
SG - Manu Ginobili
G - Derek Fisher
SF - Jamario Moon
PF - Rasheed Wallace
F - Kevin Garnett
C - Marcus Camby
C - Zydrunas Ilgauskas
U - Mo Williams
U - Jordan Farmar
Recent Additions? I’‘ve just dumped Shawne Williams for Sebastian Telfair as I think Bassy’s stats will help me out a bit more than Williams, though he hasn’t been bad.
The whole Fisher/Farmar thing has actually worked out pretty well, but it’s a bit like a RBBC in Fantasy Football at this point.
Other recent moves have seen the Dime Magazine crew drop Joakim Noah for Jason Maxiell - a move which I’m a bit mad I didn’t make myself given his recent play. But no, I’m still sticking with Tyrus Thomas, much to my own chagrin.
Matt Satten has recently swapped Damon Stoudamire for Steve Francis, while Niel Tardy has dropped Matt Barnes and DeSegana Diop for Jason Williams (MIA) and Kurt Thomas. Nothing too earth shattering as of late as they’re all upside plays given the 14-team settings.
I’ll do my best to keep you all updated over the next few weeks as things are bound to change.
Until then…
