You can’t beat the power of the hammer. There’s a new Thor trailer floating around that feels much more impressive than the earlier Fortress of Solitude one. I’m liking it more and more, even if the big battle in the desert town looks very movie set-ish.

Smart: I wanted to conduct an interview with Darryl Cunningham, but he’s so smart that it would only serve to point out how not-smart I am. Fortunately, Tom Spurgeon at The Comics Reporter is a smarty and he landed an excellent interview with the creator of Psychiatric Tales.

Batman: The Pullbox talks to my old friend, the comics historian Peter Sanderson. Subject: The Batman TV series from 1966.

Sandwich: From the creators of Fake A.P. Stylebook comes another great idea: The Content Farm. Today’s lesson, how to make a peanut butter sandwich. (I hear some prominent comic book bloggers are involved in this farming exercise...)

Bullpen: My old pal Shaun McLaughlin has a new episode up of The Bullpen, his live action web series set in an upstart comic book company where creators really do sit around in their underwear, just like you do when you work from home.

Sex: There’s some hidden, subliminal sex in the ad for Disney’s animated feature, Tangled. Cartoon Brew explains the birds and bees of advertising.

Sexy: Ricky Sprague at Project Child Murdering Robot finds conspiracy in the Fantastic Four’s - I mean Future Foundation’s - new costumes.

Play: There’s apparently so much wrong with the new Spider-Man Broadway musical that they’re bringing in someone who’s actually written the character before to work on some rewrites: Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa. Mark Evanier, a Broadway follower in addition to his many professional credits, breaks down how that could work... or not.

Pens: Veteran comic artist Rafael Kayanan talks about his favorite pens, markers and brushpens.
