Universal Orlando, the Florida-based theme park is looking for an Attractions Attendant to “enter a gleaming comic book city where Super Heroes pit themselves against Super Villains in the ultimate battle of good versus evil.”

Plus, you can “help our guests plunge into total darkness as they face an army of warrior mummies on a psychological thrill ride totally unlike anything that's come along in the past 3,000 years!

That’s the rewarding career that can be yours in the humid climate of the US southeast.

If you’ve stood in lines before you know what an attendant does: manage crowds, handle problems, operate the machines, narrate, and keep everyone out of trouble, especially yourself.

There are tons of requirements and responsibilities, but this is my favorite: “While performing the duties of this job, the individual is regularly (2/3 or more of time) required to stand, walk, talk or hear, use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls, reach with hands or arms; frequently (1/3 to 2/3 of time) required to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; occasionally (up to 1/3 of time) required to sit, climb or balance.”

And this one: “While performing the duties of this job, the individual is regularly exposed to work near moving mechanical parts and outdoor weather conditions; frequently exposed to vibration; occasionally exposed to wet, humid conditions (non-weather), work in high precarious places; work on waterways, ponds or water attractions; exposed to bodily fluids (blood, vomit, etc); work with pressure washers.”
