Then Time Warner, DC’s parent company, has a job for you.

DC’s looking for a Content Editor, someone who is a “creative, digitally savvy, and strategic-minded individual” to join their Interactive Marketing team.

The Content Editor “will be responsible for leading the day-to-day planning, development, and execution of DC Entertainment’s digital content strategy across all platforms (online, mobile, social media, etc).”

Lots of modern-sounding job responsibilities using lots of trendy buzzwords and phrases like: “social media,” “maximize the strengths,” “digital editorial calendar,” “cross-divisional partners,” “traffic analytics,” and “maximize fan engagement.”

You’ll need to check off a lot of work experience boxes to apply, including: Bachelor’s degree in Communications, English, Liberal Arts, or equivalent work experience,” 4+ years of similar work experience, experience in content management systems, the usual software skills, and the ability to work well under pressure without throwing cellphones and posting snotty tweets (I added those last two).

And a “passion for the comic book and entertainment industry a plus.”

All kidding aside, DC is a good place to work (lots of people do it), and Burbank is a nice southern California location for work (lots of my friends are there).

Good luck, job seekers!
