Comic Book Jobs: Comixology
Nothing says the future quite like "digital comics." And the leader in the digital comic book distribution game so far is Comixology.
Their New York office has four openings for people just like you.
First up is 2nd Shift Production Assistant, a part-time gig where you'll "set price information and activate price changes in multiple databases" and "participate in various tasks related to book activation and banner art/featured list updates across our various platforms and apps."
Next is Production Coordinator Assistant, where you'll "become the primary back-up to the two Sr. Production Coordinators assisting them with high profile publishers" and "research & enter data into our custom content management system (CMS), including metadata and pricing."
Thirdly, tthere's Production Assistant, where you'll be "the primary back-up to the Production Supervisor" and "participate in various tasks related to book activation and banner art/featured list updates across our various platforms and apps."
And finally, there's Production Coordinator, which entails becoming "the primary contact between publisher accounts and comiXology's production team, from initial outreach & introduction to best practices to scheduling & acquiring assets for ongoing accounts." This Includes 'becoming familiar with all aspects of the company to re-direct any and all publisher requests."
