I’m not thrilled with this choice, but I wasn’t thrilled when Jon Favreau was named director for Iron Man - and we all know how well that worked out.  On the flip side, I was thrilled when Bryan Singer was named the director of “Superman Returns” and look what happened there.  You never know.

I wish Marvel was calling the film simply Captain America instead of “First Avenger: Captain America”.  I’m sure it’s just a way to tie it in to The Avengers film.  Or maybe they don’t want to connect it to that abomination of a film that came out in 1990.  I guess that’s just me being nitpicky.  Now lets see who they pick to play Cap.
