What do you do when you’re a reunited boy band in need of a publicity stunt? You join forces with another boy band.

Last week, the hit the recording studio with the group that hit the music scene before them: New Edition. It was the first time both Maurice Starr creations have worked together on a project.

The song - which does not include bad boy Bobby Brown - is being put together by RedOne, the same man also responsible for ‘s new track ‘Fashion.’ (Just in case that news raises any red flags for you.) According to the producer, the song “sounds very universal and melodic and has both sides in it: The R&B, which is New Edition and the pop side for New Kids.”

My advice to (and any other expectant women out there): Accessories should be limited when your belly starts to show.

Nothing should ever be wrapped around your head. Ever.

Vanity Fair

Earlier this year, Vanity Fair devoted one of its issues to the ‘Fresh Faces of 2008.’ Now the magazine is focusing its attention on ‘Hollywood’s New Wave.’ What’s the difference? I have absolutely no idea.

In the August edition, readers will be able to find some of the younger generation’s brightest stars (e.g. the cast of , the Jonas Brothers). They’ll also be introduced to others still making their mark.

Will all of the chosen be names still heard years from now? Probably not. But that’s what makes these issues quite interesting to me. I always find it fun trying to predict those who’ll have lasting power and those who’ll burn out quickly.

You can see some of those youthful stars after the jump. The rest of them can be found here.

Steven TylerRealizing people weren’t buying his ‘my feet really hurt’ story, has chosen to give honesty a try.

Back in May, the Aerosmith singer tried convincing the media that he was away seeking recuperation, not rehabilitation. Tyler said he was simply wanted time alone to recover from some surgeries. “I really needed a safe environment to recuperate where I could shut off my phone and get back on my feet.”

Now the musician - who has battled addiction before - admits he was receiving help for much more. Steven told the Associated Press that his treatment was for the what came after his procedures. “To have your feet done, to have your leg done, you have to be on narcotics. You have to be on sleep aids at night. I don’t know about Joe [Perry, an Aerosmith bandmate], but I was off and running and I didn’t like the me that was me.”

See, Steven? Now was that so hard?

Paris Hilton , 27, once promised the world she would do more good works in her life. This isn’t to say she won’t still star on somewhat trashy reality shows - she’s working on a project with MTV right now, in fact - but the heiress apparently isn’t afraid to give some of her millions away.

Hilton recently donated an “extremely generous” undisclosed sum to the to-be-constructed Children’s Hospital Los Angeles. “I am proud to make a donation and lend my name to the fund raising effort to help children who are facing terribly serious diseases,” Hilton said of her gift. The center Hilton donated to is scheduled to open in 2010.

Donald TrumpRomantic relationships are a private, personal affair. Unless, of course, you’re a celebrity. Then, you (and your broken heart) are just media fodder. And might just cash in on the publicity action, too.

The famed tycoon unleashed a string of comments to the press on the subject of Get Smart star and her headline-grabbing breakup from four-year romantic partner Raffeallo Follieri. Follieri, who lives in Trump Tower, was recently arrested for fraud. If that wasn’t bad enough, he was also ditched by his brunette gal pal. But don’t worry - Follieri has a friend in Trump.

“She hasn’t remained very loyal to him, has she?” Trump posed the question to Access Hollywood. “So when he had plenty of money, she liked him, but then after that, not as good, right?”

Even while The Donald bashed the Hollywood star, he had some positive comments on Follieri (whose bail is set at a staggering multi-million dollar sum). “I’ve heard he’s very nice.” Well, then, it must be true! “According to the help, no problems.” Did Donald Trump just honestly refer to his employees as “the help” - is anyone else taken aback by this?

Madonna and Guy RitchieAfter nearly 8 years of marriage, it’s really starting to look like things are over between and Guy Ritchie.

Sources say the two have simply fallen out of love and have been living separate lives for some time now. According to one report, Guy has even distanced himself from kabbalah, the set of teachings the singer has been closely associated with.

Although the couple have been dogged by rumors for years, Ritchie’s absence from his wife’s Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction in March helped fuel speculation. Now there’s word that Madonna, 49, has hired the same lawyer who helped guide Paul McCartney through his high-profile divorce proceedings.

While Guy, 39, could be entitled to nearly 1/2 of the singer’s estimated $600 million fortune, friends of the director claim its unlikely we’ll be seeing the two in court. According to one source, it’s “not his style to start profiteering from such sorry circumstances.”

As one would expect, the British journalists have latched onto this story and are continuously churning out new tidbits. Stay tuned for the developments.
