TMZ is reporting that Tiger Woods is well on his way to winning himself back into the good graces of his former corporate sponsors.
Their sources say that Tiger was spotted shooting a Nike commercial Thursday at the Isleworth Country Club golf course near Tiger’s Windermere, Florida home.

UPDATE: According to the coroner, Corey Haim died as result of natural causes.
Fans woke up Wednesday morning with the sad news that 1980s teen icon Corey Haim died during the night. Unfortunately, this headline is not uncommon…nor is the sad story that sums up the once-promising actor’s young life. Perhaps best known as Corey Feldman’s frequent co-star, Corey Haim was once one of the most popular stars in the country. During his heyday of The Lost Boys, License to Drive and Lucas, Haim captivated hearts - and casting directors - with his trademark smirk and level gaze. It’s too bad that, at the same time, substance abuse captivated him.

-Speaking of wedding news, Brothers & Sisters’ Dave Annable recently popped the question to Odette Yustman (October Road). I guess this means he won’t be getting back together with co-star Emily VanCamp anytime soon.
-More bad news for the family of Captain Phil Harris. Jake, a son of the recently deceased Deadliest Catch star, was arrested Thursday night for suspicion of DUI and hit-and-run.
-Family Ties’ Brian Bonsall also found himself in trouble with the law this week. The troubled former child star was arrested this time for possession of marijuana - a violation of his release on an assault case.

Tiger Woods Double Fooling the Press?

TMZ has obtained photographs of a man who resembles Tiger Woods on the grounds of a Mississippi-based clinic. It has been reported that the famous golfer is being treated at the facility for sexual addiction, but TMZ’s story sheds a new light on the rumors.
The entertainment site won’t publish the picture of the Woods lookalike to protect the individual’s identity, but says he is clearly not the golfer. The man is wearing clothes and jewelry that seems similar to Tiger’s style, even down to a Stanford hat (Tiger’s alma mater). Could it be that the doppelganger has been unwittingly fooling the press all along?

Tiger Woods in Counseling?

Us Weekly reports that Tiger Woods has been staying in a Long Island, New York home belonging to billionaire Jim Dolan. It is also reported that a psychiatrist has been visiting regularly to counsel the golfer.
The claim has been denied as “categorically false and preposterous on its face,” by a spokesperson for Madison Square Garden, property which is owned by Dolan.
The magazine goes on to make even bolder claims, speculating that Tiger Woods spent the recent holidays with alleged mistress Rachel Uchitel and that estranged wife Elin Nordegren has been drinking heavily.

The media has been following his wife around for weeks, and shortly after his accident reporters were riding boats on the lake near his Florida home. Through it all, there wasn’t a whisper of Tiger Woods. Where’s he been?
E! Online is reporting that Woods has been holed up in New York’s Trump Hotel 1. “Sources” say there has been no sign of Elin Nordegren, Tiger’s wife.

Christmas Comes Early for Carrie Underwood

American Idol’s Carrie Underwood got an early holiday present, and these kinds of carats aren’t made for dieting.
The songstress is engaged to her hockey player boyfriend Mike Fisher, who recently signed a new contract with the Ottawa Senators.
“I’m happy to confirm that Carrie Underwood is engaged to Mike Fisher, and the couple couldn’t be happier,” a rep for the singer stated. “No wedding date has been set at this time.”
The two have been dating since late last year.

Gosselin Lawyers Offer Conflicting Reports

Despite claims from Jon Gosselin’s attorney, legal counsel for Kate says the divorce will be finalized “today or tomorrow.” Mark Momjian, who represents Kate Gosselin, said “it could be any minute.”
Recently, Jon’s lawyer Mark Heller said the couple’s split wouldn’t be finished until after the new year. Momjian said he doesn’t know “what Mr. Heller is talking about - he’s mistaken.”
In other court proceedings, Jon Gosselin was recently ordered to stop bringing guns into the Pennsylvania home shared by the couple.
Mark Heller continues to maintain his claims that the couple will not complete the divorce proceedings until 2010. He even told Entertainment Tonight that Jon and Kate plan to spend Christmas together.

Tiger Woods Scandal: Death Threats, Missing Rings and More

TMZ is reporting that Rachel Uchitel, Mistress Number 1 in the Tiger Woods scandal, has been receiving death threats. Her old cell phone number was made public via a 2001 photo; this old number points callers to the new digits. Now, Uchitel is receiving messages wherein callers threaten to go to New York for the express purpose of doing her bodily harm.
Getting fifteen minutes of fame isn’t always fun, people. Uchitel’s Facebook page was so filled with negative comments and threats, it has been shut down.
Meanwhile, Mrs. Tiger Woods, Elin Nordegren, was recently spotted in Florida without her wedding ring. Nordegren pumped her own gas and smiled as cameras caught her picture.
The Department of Children and Family Services in Florida recently paid a visit to the Woods home. The sheriff’s department was also called in during this visit, however “The Orange County Sheriff’s Office is not at liberty to discuss the reason for the visit,” according to one spokesperson.
