-There’ll be no more groupies for A.J. McLean. The Backstreet Boy proposed to his girlfriend, Rochelle Deanna Karidis, over the weekend.
-Subway personality Jared Fogle will now be sharing his sandwiches. The 30-year-old will wed Katie McLaughlin sometime this summer.
-Speaking of love matches, Jon Gosselin has apparently made another one. The father of eight is now dating Morgan Christie, a 25-year-old he met while snowboarding.

Sarah Chalke: The maternity ward at Scrubs just got another patient. Chalke and her fiance, entertainment lawyer James Afifi, became first became first-time parents on to Charlie Rhodes Afifi. Former costar Judy Reyes gave birth to her daughter the day after Thanksgiving.

Tiger Woods in Counseling?

Us Weekly reports that Tiger Woods has been staying in a Long Island, New York home belonging to billionaire Jim Dolan. It is also reported that a psychiatrist has been visiting regularly to counsel the golfer.
The claim has been denied as “categorically false and preposterous on its face,” by a spokesperson for Madison Square Garden, property which is owned by Dolan.
The magazine goes on to make even bolder claims, speculating that Tiger Woods spent the recent holidays with alleged mistress Rachel Uchitel and that estranged wife Elin Nordegren has been drinking heavily.

The media has been following his wife around for weeks, and shortly after his accident reporters were riding boats on the lake near his Florida home. Through it all, there wasn’t a whisper of Tiger Woods. Where’s he been?
E! Online is reporting that Woods has been holed up in New York’s Trump Hotel 1. “Sources” say there has been no sign of Elin Nordegren, Tiger’s wife.

Brutally, the article lays out Tiger’s transgressions and the nature of his former public image, showing the two very contrasting personas. The piece then goes on, point-blank, to call Woods a sex addict “who could not get enough.”
But there is nothing in the article that speaks to the fans, nothing that remarks upon the loss of his once legendary image and the true sorrow it all evokes. How will golf lovers reconcile the perfect, professional athlete with the disgraced public figure? Until Woods himself comes forward to speak, the answer remains unknown.

Christmas Comes Early for Carrie Underwood

American Idol’s Carrie Underwood got an early holiday present, and these kinds of carats aren’t made for dieting.
The songstress is engaged to her hockey player boyfriend Mike Fisher, who recently signed a new contract with the Ottawa Senators.
“I’m happy to confirm that Carrie Underwood is engaged to Mike Fisher, and the couple couldn’t be happier,” a rep for the singer stated. “No wedding date has been set at this time.”
The two have been dating since late last year.

Tiger Woods’ peers have voted him as their greatest for 2009. Other professional golfers have named Woods the PGA Player of the Year.
According to the Commissioner Timothy Finchem, the honor is “one of the highest compliments a PGA Tour member can receive.”

Andrew Guiliani was eliminated from the series at the end of Week 8.
