I think, you know what, he may or may not be an a**hole, but he certainly is dangerous, and I’d love to have a dialogue with him ... He’s dangerous because his ideas are poisonous ... I couldn’t believe when he was on CNN. I thought, what happened to CNN? Who is this guy? Who is this madman? And then of course he wound up on Fox News, which is where he belongs, I guess.”

Tila Tequila Engaged to Billionaire Heiress

VH1 reality star Tila Tequila is reportedly engaged to Johnson & Johnson heiress Casey Johnson. And I thought that she’d never find love!
Very publicly displaying her ring and affection for her fiancé (video after the jump), Tila seemed a little too excited to spill the details (save who proposed to whom) while Casey kept silent and hesitated with a kiss for the paparazzi. The explanation boils down to three possibilities: it’s a huge cry for publicity; Tila had too much tequila; or it was just Tila… being Tila.
To further cement the news, Tila Tweeted about the engagement: “Yes it’s true! I am 100% Engaged to my beautiful Fiance Casey Johnson, Heir of the Johnson & Johnson empire! & YES Im pregnant VERY SOON!”

Will John McCain Go Rogue to Combat Sarah Palin?

Sarah Palin has gone on record while promoting her new tell-all (Going Rogue) to speak out against the McCain camp…but her former running mate could soon answer with a few stories of his own.
Rumor has it that no less than thee different book agents and/or publishers have approached John McCain, offering many millions to get him to share his side of the story. One unnamed publisher is quoted as saying that such a tome “would be the hottest book of the year. Even bigger than Sarah’s book.”
But will McCain actually do it? Only time - and press releases - will tell.

Jon Gosselin Wants Out of His TLC Contract

This probably isn’t the first time someone tried to cite a case of stupidity as a legal defense. Jon Gosselin, calling himself “an unsophisticated father of eight,” says he was in no position to sign a contract with TLC. He had no lawyer or manager to guide him, you see, so he can hardly be held accountable for putting his own legal name on legal paperwork.
Gosselin said the deal was bad from the start (so why did he continue for so many seasons…?), they only pulled down $2,000 per episode. He even attacked the cable network on another front, saying that TLC violated child labor laws. TLC denies these claims and states that Gosselin did have a lawyer at the contract meetings.

Sarah Palin Responds to Levi’s Johnston

Levi Johnston has been getting a fair amount of press attention, a lot of it due to his association with former Alaska governor Sarah Palin. You see, he’s going to bare it all in Playgirl and he happened to be the one to knock up Palin’s oldest daughter.
If that wasn’t enough, he’s made a few incendiary comments to the media recently regarding his dear, nearly mother-in-law. On a recent Early Show appearance, Levi called Palin’s song Trig “retarded,” (he’s got Down’s syndrome) and later added that he, Levi, could get Palin “in trouble and could hurt her.” Oh, do tell.

Kate Gosselin Wins Round 1

Everything that’s been going on thus far was merely a warm-up to the real Jon and Kate Gosselin war, which got underway this week in court. So far, Kate’s ahead thanks to a ruling made by Judge Arthur R. Tilson.
For now, Jon Gosselin has been ordered to return $180,000 of the $235,000 he’s withdrawn from the joint bank account. According to Kate Gosselin lawyer Mark Momjian, Jon has to pony up the dough by October 26. “As difficult as this has been for me, I am pleased that the court has ruled fairly on behalf of myself and my children,” said Kate.
Let’s just pause for a second and really think about the staggering sum of $235,000, an amount which many Americans don’t earn even two years’ of work. As a matter of fact, the average firefighter/EMT earned approximately $47,000 annually in 2003…and they save lives.

Tracy Morgan Disses Former SNLers in New Book

This Thursday’s return of 30 Rock isn’t the only thing Tracy Morgan fans should be looking forward to. Next week’s release of the comedian’s new book, I Am the New Black, promises to give us more backstage group than the fictional NBC program could provide.
In the autobiography, Morgan talks about his years on Saturday Night Live and is more than candid about those he liked and disliked. Part of what can be heard on an audio recording of the book is apparently an ad-libbed version of what is on the page. Either way, you might not think about former late-night players Cheri Oteri and Chris Kattan the same way again.

“Kate, I just want to apologize, you know for my actions.” These are the words Jon Gosselin will speak tonight to Mary Hart on his ET segment. “Now, I have to take the initiative. Let’s both go together, let’s both mediate this thing out.”
I believe “this thing” refers to his recent fallout with TLC, the cable network that made he and estranged wife Kate reality celebrities. Jon Gosselin went apes**t, if you’ll pardon the expression, when Jon and Kate became Kate Plus 8, signifying the new direction of the show. He posted a sign on his property forbidding the camera crews to do their job and made incendiary remarks through his legal representative, igniting a media firestorm that’s been watched anxiously.
