Susan SurandonSusan Sarandon claims that the government has tapped her phone.

The actress and liberal anti-war activist alleges she was denied security clearance to the White House and has discovered her phone was bugged through two Freedom of Information Act requests.

"We know we're under surveillance. I was denied a security clearance to go to the White House and I don't know why. Do you know why?" she said, speaking during a Q&A session at the Tribeca Film Festival.

Although Susan claims she has no idea why she is under surveillance by the US government, her outspoken campaigning against the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan and her activism in political campaigns since the 1980s could be responsible. Ten years ago in 2002, she joined the rally in Washington, D.C. against the invasion of Iraq. "Let us resist this war. Let us hate war in all its forms, whether the weapon used is a missile or an airplane," she said.

Nicki MinajNicki Minaj is "enjoying life" without Twitter.

The 29-year-old "Starships" rapper closed her account last week after getting into an argument with fan site NickiDaily, which allegedly leaked tracks from her album Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded. With just 30 days to reinstate the account, Nicki admits she is in two minds, mainly because she doesn't want to break contact with her fans, who she calls "Barbz."

"I don't know yet. I have to say, I've been kind of enjoying life without twitter. But I feel bad on the Barbz. They got really sad when I deleted it," she told The Sun when asked if a Twitter return is on the cards.

Not one to back away from a fight, Nicki believes the best way to confront online haters is to reply to their name-calling: "I think most artists will experience a lot of negative people on Twitter but, thank God, I've got so many followers that I'm not able to see them that much. I'll see some from time to time but, for the most part, I always focus on something good. But the way I deal with it is if I see someone tweet something bad, I'll retweet it and put some lewd thing back."

Mel GibsonMel Gibson terrified scriptwriter Joe Eszterhas with a foul-mouthed rant at his home in December.

Joe has released an audio file taken while at the troubled actor's home in December where he is heard shouting about his ex-wife Oksana Grigorieva and questioning why he had not yet received a first draft of the script for now-stalled project The Maccabees.

In a recording released to TheWrap.com, where Mel is heard grunting and growling, he shouts, "Why don't I have a first draft of The Maccabees? What the f**k have you been doing? I'll type it! I go to work, you're getting paid, I'm not! S**t! I am earning money for a filthy little c**ksucker who takes advantage of me! Just like every motherf****r! So hurry the f**k up!"

After a period of quiet - where he knocks down a totem pole and throws items - he asks his guests if they would like to eat. "Who wants to eat?! Who the f**k wants to eat?! Go have something to eat! Hurrrrraaaaayyyyyy! F**king **** c**ksucker whore" he shouts.

France Bean CobainFrances Bean Cobain wants her mother Courtney Love banned from Twitter.

The 19-year-old daughter of Courtney and late rocker Kurt Cobain has hit back at claims Dave Grohl - who was a member of Nirvana with her dad - tried to make a move on her, which her mother claimed she had heard from a friend of Frances'.

"While I'm generally silent on the affairs of my biological mother, her recent tirade has taken a gross turn. I have never been approached by Dave Grohl in more than a platonic way. I'm in a monogamous relationship and very happy. Twitter should ban my mother," said the teenager, who has been estranged from her only parent for a few years.

Frances obtained a restraining order against her mother in 2009 and court papers recently released claimed she was terrified the Hole singer would cause both of their deaths in a fire:

Katy PerryKaty Perry thinks fame is "disgusting." The 27-year-old "Part Of Me" singer - who has been a regular in the gossip columns since splitting with husband Russell Brand in December - admits that while she still loves her job, she hates the exposure that comes with it.

"I'm tired of being famous already! But I'm not tired of creating. Fame is, I think, just a disgusting by-product of what I do. It's quite a delicate creature-- it's a wild animal of sorts. It can love you, and then it can attack you."

The regular Twitter user insists she wants fans to see her as a normal person, and not someone to be in awe of: "I still want to be as approachable and relatable as possible--when I meet fans and they're crying, I'll say, 'Calm down, there's nothing to cry about. I'm not going to bite you or attack you or grant you three wishes. Let's just hang out and have a good time.' But really, I stopped focusing on what other people think a while ago. If you try to be everything to everyone, you'll only end up completely confused."

Demi LovatoDemi Lovato has slammed the TV and movie industry for "glorifying an unhealthy body image."

The 19-year-old singer-and-actress - who checked into rehab in October 2010 to receive treatment for self-harm and bulimia - thinks film and TV companies should "take more responsibility" about the messages their shows and motion pictures are carrying because they are putting "a lot of pressure" on young female viewers to be thin.

"I feel as if television and movies are now glorifying an unhealthy body image which puts a lot of pressure on young girls - and especially girls that are growing up and trying to find themselves. A lot of girls who are young are insecure, and they look to the media and what they see in magazines and everything else to see what they should look like. And I think that the film industry and the television industry should take more responsibility."

Charlie SheenCharlie Sheen feels people have been quick to forget what caused his angry rants. The 46-year-old actor lost his job on Two and a Half Men after taking aim at the show's executive producer, Chuck Lorre, and some of his co-stars in a series of highly publicized outbursts last year.

But 12 months on and with a new show of his own set for release, Charlie believes people haven't bothered to remember why he was so riled up in the first place.

"No one seems to want to remember, they all talk about 'tiger blood' and 'winning' and everything. But no one talks about what I was so upset about. They just want to talk about the special effects of it all. I won't get into it now, but people need to review what started it all. The reason I stayed on it with such vitriol was ... one thing: No one is above common courtesy. It's part of my code. Some people put themselves way above common professionalism."

Charlie is now set to debut his new series, Anger Management in June and has high hopes for its success:

Charlie Sheen

Charlie Sheen doesn't "recognize parts" of himself when he looks back on his "cringeable" behavior last year.

The 46-year-old actor - who suffered drug and alcohol problems in 2011 before being axed from Two and a Half Men after launching a number of rants at creator Chuck Lorre - has apologized to the American public for his actions last year, and he has compared his wild behavior to having an out-of-body experience: "I didn't recognize parts of who that guy was. I just wish it was somebody else's body. You say it's been a year - it's either been a day, or a hundred years. I guess the plan was to reintroduce myself to America and to the media and say, 'Sorry about that, but here's what's happening now.'"

Jon HammJon Hamm has said his statement about celebrity stupidity was "nothing personal" against Kim Kardashian.

The Mad Men actor blasted the culture of celebrity in Hollywood which celebrated idiocy and name-checked Kim and Paris Hilton as he did so - causing Kim to retort he should not be so careless with his words - but he has now claimed he did not mean it as a direct attach on the 31 year-old.

"It's surprising to me that it has become remotely a story. I don't know Ms. Kardashian, I know her public persona. What I said was meant to be more on pervasiveness of something in our culture, not personal, but she took offense to it and that is her right."

After the outburst, Kim - who runs her own business in addition to modelling and appearing in various TV shows - claimed she had respect for the actor but told him he should think more about what he says.

Piers MorganPiers Morgan has branded Kate Moss a "vile little creature."

The 46-year-old journalist - who now fronts CNN's Piers Morgan Tonight - says he hates Kate, 38, and the supermodel despises him in equal measure.

"She doesn't like me, I don't like her. Kate Moss is utterly horrific. If people actually knew what she was like they would never, ever be interested in her again. She's just a real, spoilt little madam from Croydon. There's nothing wrong with Croydon - I was brought up near Croydon. But she's just a vile little creature."

Moving on to the topic of Madonna, Piers - who has banned the "Hung Up" singer from his chat show - took aim at her toned physique: "Those arms are just terrifying. It's like watching Conan the Barbarian. She's looking even more barbaric than ever at the moment, utterly grotesque. When I got the CNN job I banned her from the show, permanently. She responded by saying she'd never heard of me, but we both know she's lying."

But he insists he doesn't hate all of Hollywood and even has kind words to spare for actresses Gwyneth Paltrow and Cameron Diaz:
