Robert De Niro and Jay-Z

Robert De Niro allegedly picked a fight with Jay-Z last weekend. The Godfather II actor called the rap mogul out for being disrespectful in front of a collection of A-list guests including Martin Scorsese and Cameron Diaz at Leonardo DiCaprio's 38th birthday party, accusing Jay-Z of never returning his calls.

"Bob was sitting at a table, and when Jay-Z went over to say hello, De Niro told Jay that he never called him back. Bob wasn't in any mood to make polite conversation. He told Jay that if somebody calls you six times, you call them back. It doesn't matter who you are, that is just rude," a source said.

UsherVoters in Atlanta were furious when Usher was allowed to skip to the front of the line on election day.

The "OMG" hitmaker was given special treatment by polling officials, where he was allowed to bypass the long queue to vote during the recent US presidential election, and his fellow voters are unhappy with the move, according to local TV station WSBTV. However, election officials insist Usher was allowed to move to the front of the line to prevent chaos among those present.

They said in a statement that the site's poll manager "was directed to ensure that [Usher's] presence would not become a distraction by taking necessary measures to move [him] through the process as expeditiously as possible. At no point was this decision made for preferential treatment, but to avoid a distraction at the poll."

Jennifer LawrenceJennifer Lawrence won't lose weight for her career. The Hunger Games actress hates the pressure in Hollywood for female stars to conform to an ideal of beauty and be a certain size and she refuses to be made to feel overweight for eating normally.

"Oh god, yes, I'm so tired of the lollipops. I mean, if I looked like that I wouldn't be tired of it, obviously, but it's hilarious, the way I'm supposedly the overweight one. Like, they (the paparazzi) got me at the movies yesterday and the caption read something like, 'Curvy star cannot wait to dig into a tub of popcorn.' I mean come on! I'm just a normal girl who likes to eat! At least they got me using my hands," she ranted.

The 22-year-old blonde beauty takes the responsibility of playing teen idol Katniss Everdeen in The Hunger Games very seriously and wants to be a good role model to her fans, but admitted she has little in common with her tough on-screen alter-ego and is far from a natural leader in real life. "I guess people expect that of me, and if I had to kill something for survival, maybe I would and yeah, maybe I was a tomboy when I was growing up. But I'm definitely a girl now... Of course, there's a responsibility I'm aware of. In one sense, luckily, it comes naturally because I can't stay out beyond midnight. I don't really have an exciting life. But if you mean, am I natural leader? No. I just appear that way," she told British Vogue.

Paris HiltonParis Hilton is sorry "from the bottom" of her heart of insulting gay people.

The 31-year-old socialite was recorded stating many gay men "probably have AIDS" and saying they are "disgusting" for being promiscuous to a friend in the back of a taxi, but she has now apologized for her words and insists they do not represent her true feelings towards the homosexual community.

"I am so sorry and so upset that I caused pain to my gay friends, fans and their families with the comments heard this morning. I was having this private conversation with a friend of mine who is gay and our conversation was in no way towards the entire gay community. It is the last thing that I would ever want to do and I cannot put into words how much I wish I could take back every word," she said in a statement on the Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation (GLAAD) website.

Paris HiltonParis Hilton has branded gay men "disgusting."

The socialite was recorded in a cab in Manhattan, New York City, on September 7 making derogatory marks during a conversation with a homosexual friend and also says she would be "afraid" to be gay in case she "died of AIDS." In the audio, which has been posted on RadarOnline.com, Paris' friend said, "Say I log into Grindr [a gay hook-up app], someone that's on Grindr can be in that building and it tells you all the locations of where they are and you can be like, 'Yo, you wanna f**k?' and he might be on like, the sixth floor."

Paris replies, "Ewww. Eww. To get f***ed? Gay guys are the horniest people in the world. They're disgusting. Dude, most of them probably have AIDS. I would be so scared if I was a gay guy, you might like, die of AIDS."

A spokesperson for the heiress insists her remarks have been taken out of context and, as a "huge supporter" of the gay community, she meant no offense:

Lindsay Lohan and Amanda Bynes

Lindsay Lohan thinks that Amanda Bynes should be punished for her driving offenses. The former Disney star has had her fair share of run ins with the law and has served jail time for crimes committed behind the wheel and doesn't think it's fair that fellow actress Amanda has not yet been arrested for her ongoing driving indiscretions.

"Why did I get put in jail and a nickelodeon star has had NO punishment(s) so far? (sic)" Lindsay tweeted yesterday. She continued to say, "These are the moments that I appreciate my life experiences, living without regrets and Disney for supporting me as an actress-night all (sic)"

Alec Baldwin with his daughter IrelandAlec Baldwin's daughter isn't upset he called her a "rude, thoughtless little pig."

The 30 Rock actor infamously left a message berating Ireland, 11 at the time, and her mother - his ex-wife Kim Basinger - when he couldn't get hold of them, which was subsequently leaked to the internet, but while most people were shocked, she now laughs about the incident.

"The only problem with that voicemail was that people made it out to be a way bigger deal than it was. He's said stuff like that before just because he's frustrated. For me it was like, 'OK, whatever.' I called him back and I was like, 'Sorry Dad, I didn't have my phone. That was it.' We almost did something funny on YouTube, of me calling him and yelling at him. We were just talking about it the other week," Ireland, now 16, told Page Six.

Ireland also said she has started to forge a great relationship with Hilaria, her 28-year-old step mother, who wed Alec, 54, in June.

RihannaRihanna has branded French people "f***ing insane" after nearly causing a riot in Paris.

The 24-year-old singer sparked "absolute chaos" when she posted the number of her Eurostar train and her arrival time at the Gare du Nord train station in the French capital city on Twitter, which resulted in hundreds of screaming fans turning up to see their idol after her trip from London.

Following the frenzy on Saturday, Rihanna launched a foul-mouthed tirade on the social networking site against her "out of control" fans. In a series of tweets, she wrote, "The French are f***ing insane!!! FYI, if u push me, you WILL get pushed the phuck back! Papz and crazies included!!!! I just had to fight my way out of a damn train station!!! SMH Y'all are outta control with this s**t in Paris!!! (sic)"

Rihanna was later blasted by security chiefs at Gare du Nord for her "utterly irresponsible" behavior. A security chief at the station is quoted by The Sun newspaper as saying, "It was absolute chaos, and all Rihanna's fault. What Rihanna did was utterly irresponsible. There was genuine fear among other people at the station."

Lady GagaLady Gaga has slammed her "lifelong friends" for "betraying" her.

The "Marry the Night" hitmaker admitted she has had a "challenging" year marred by creative struggles - including criticisms her "Born this Way" single was too similar to Madonna's "Express Yourself" - professional disagreements and her own body image issues in an open letter to her fans.

"Today is a really happy day for me. The past year was a challenge, and I'm so happy to have my spirit back. I felt in chains at times," she wrote on her Little Monsters website.

In what is believed to be a reference to her dispute with director Joseph Kahn over a scrapped "Born this Way" video treatment, she added, "Whether it be the record label disagreeing with me on single choices, or directors who could only create an idea of 'gaga' or what I've 'done before' and not able to move forward, and there was also of course the incessant dragging of the most important single of my career in dead-beaten-horse-mud. Then there were all the personal moments. Betrayed by lifelong friends, mentors I've had for years suddenly taking advantage of me, and a massive struggles with my body image.(sic)"

Mel GibsonMel Gibson doesn't think Hollywood is ready to forgive him for a number of controversial incidents that have occurred in the last few years.

The 56-year-old actor was caught in an expletive and racist tirade against his child's mother, Oksana Grigorieva, in audio tapes released to the public. He was again caught on tape laying into Maccabees screenwriter Joe Eszterhas calling him a "f**king ****" among other things, and last month his step-mother filed for a restraining order against the actor citing he spat in her face.

"They have to forget. I don't even think they're vindictive. I don't think they think there's reason to forgive. And forgive what to begin with? What are they asking for? It's almost like can you please forgive me for what? What did I do, really? It is kind of ridiculous," he said.
