Jessica Simpson found out she was pregnant thanks to pre-cocktail "guilt."
The 31-year-old Fashion Star mentor - who is expecting her first-born with fiancé Eric Johnson - admits she was overcome by bad feelings as she prepared for a drinking session: "We were going to have an all-day drinking binge. Going to ride our bikes, hang out ... do naughty things. But I started feeling this overwhelming guilt. Why would I feel guilt at the idea of going out and having cocktails with my friends?"
A pregnancy test confirmed her suspicions, and Jessica is expected to give birth to a baby girl this spring.
But the Dukes of Hazzard actress is praying her daughter inherits her sense of style: "I swear I will croak if she asks me for a pair of Nikes instead of Christian Louboutins! Eric is so athletic. We're going to have this athletic girl and I won't even be able to take her shopping."

Nick Lachey and Vanessa Minnillo Expecting Baby

Nick Lachey and Vanessa Minnillo are expecting their first child together.
The couple - who married last July - will welcome the baby into the world late summer and are "overwhelmed" at the prospect of becoming parents.
Co-hosting Live! With Kelly this morning, Nick confirmed, "I've had a chance to do a lot of great things in my career and my life but this is the one thing that, more than any other, I look forward to. The fact that it's actually here, it's overwhelming."
Though they haven't found out the sex of the baby yet, Nick says they "definitely" will and have already started discussing names: "We definitely want to know [the sex]. I can't take the knowledge that someone out there knows, but I don't know. It's like watching a sports game on TiVo. If it's a girl, I think it might be Sophia. If it's a boy, I'm not sure. Colin John Lachey [has always been a favorite]. Call him C.J. for short. C.J. Lachey."
Nick revealed the Total Wipeout host has been experiencing some cravings since conceiving: "She loves Mexican food. She could eat a burrito every day of the week."

Jennifer Garner Names Son Samuel

Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck have named their newborn son Samuel.
The couple - who also have two daughters, six-year-old Violet and three-year-old Seraphina - welcomed their "healthy" third child on Monday in Santa Monica, California.
"We are happy to announce on February 27, Jennifer gave birth to a healthy baby boy, Samuel Garner Affleck," Ben wrote on his Facebook page.
The 39-year-old actress - who has been married to the 39-year-old star since June 2005 - recently revealed the pair's daughters had been thinking of possible Disney-related names to call their newborn child: "Our girls are working on names. At first they were definitely Disney. It was like, Donald Duck, Minnie Mouse Affleck. And then they've moved on. Then it was Peter Pan, Captain Hook, Smee."

Kim Kardashian "absolutely" wants to have children - but not for a few years.
The 31-year-old socialite - who has been romantically linked with former boyfriend Reggie Bush since splitting from husband Kris Humphries in October after just 72 days of marriage - still wants to have a family but not just yet as she wants to keep her curvaceous figure the way it is.
"Do I want kids of my own? Absolutely. But I don't know if that's what's meant for me. Maybe I'll just work, work, work, and not think about it. [My sister] Khloe joked with me and said, 'Will you be my surrogate?'"
But for the moment Kim wants to keep her shape instead of having a baby: "I said, 'I think I have a couple more years when I just want my body to myself. At 35, I promise I'll consider it.'"
Kim also admitted her public nuptials and the subsequent fall-out from the demise of her marriage - which has been the subject of speculation it was a fake union designed to boost ratings for her reality TV shows - has taught her to be more private about her personal life in future. "[The experience has] definitely made me want to be more private with my relationship, whenever I choose to get into one again. I'm not ready, but when that time comes, I'll be more cautious about who I let my world open up to," she told Allure.

Kristin Cavallari Will Find Out Baby’s Sex

Kristin Cavallari will find out the sex of her baby.
The 25-year-old star - who is currently expecting her first baby with partner Jay Cutler - admits she would not be able to wait to find out if she was having a boy or girl, but would not mind what it turns out to be: "I do want to find out what I'm having, I couldn't wait. I don't care what the sex is. A little girl would be fun, to put little tutus on her, but a boy would be great, so I don't care."
Despite only being in the early stages of her pregnancy, Kristin has experienced some cravings - mostly for dairy produce. "It's been going great, I haven't had any morning sickness. I've just been a little tired. I went through a dairy phase where anything with dairy in it I had to have, but now I'm out of that phase and there's nothing in particular I'm craving.

Hilary Duff's husband has retired.
Ice hockey player Mike Comrie, 31, has announced he is calling time on his career after undergoing hip surgery two weeks ago, his third surgical procedure in five years.
"My career has afforded me a series of phenomenal opportunities to play and become friends with some of the greatest people I have ever known and some of the greatest players who have ever played this game," said Mike, who most recently played for NHL team the Pittsburgh Penguins.
Hilary, who is due to give birth to the couple's first child next month, later revealed the couple were taking some time to relive her spouse's career highlights.
"As many of u know mike has announced his retirement.Its a bittersweet day! He had a wonderful career! but 3 hip surgeries in 5 years is alot! 2day we are enjoying all the great memories mike had while playing in the NHL! now we have a big addition coming to our family! (sic)" she wrote on her Twitter.

Jennifer Garner says husband Ben Affleck isn't "sure" if he wants a son.
The actress is currently pregnant with the couple's third child and while the actor initially wanted their two daughters to have a baby brother, now he isn't convinced. "I would have thought [he wanted a boy]. At first I think I really thought so. And then he kind of said, 'Well, we have girls. We know how to do girls. My girls love me. I'm the big guy in the house.' So, now I'm not sure," she told Jay Leno.

Chris Hemsworth is to become a father for the first time. The Thor actor's wife Elsa Pataky is pregnant with the couple's first child and the Spanish actress says they are "delighted and very excited."
"Having the person that you love by your side and starting a family with them is the best thing that can happen to you in this life. You can't ask for more," she said.
The baby is due in the spring. Elsa, 35, says the couple - who married in December 2010 - are keen to have a large family and want their unborn tot to have a sibling in the future: "I want to have a big family, and so does Chris. My dream is to have more than one child."
Chris, 28, has already got experience with children as his older brother has a little girl and he recently revealed his niece has a toy doll of him as superhero Thor: "I was talking with my older brother the other day and his daughter was running around the house with a Thor action figure; he wanted to pull the batteries out of it because she keeps pressing the button and making it speak, 'I am Thor!' or, 'The mighty Mjolnir!' It does nothing but make me laugh, it's great."

Jack Osbourne Expecting a Baby Girl

Jack Osbourne's fiancee is reportedly expecting a baby girl. The reality TV star recently announced he and Lisa Stelley were having their first baby together and now sister Kelly Osbourne has revealed the gender of the unborn tot.
When asked if she was going to spoil the baby, Kelly told America's In Touch magazine, "My brother already said, 'You're not allowed to spoil her!' " However, she tried to backtrack and hurriedly said, "Oh, I actually don't even know what it is yet, no one does."
Although he can't wait to become a father, Jack recently revealed the baby "wasn't planned."
"I'm excited. It's a very good thing. It wasn't planned, if that tells you anything... I'm just really happy about the whole thing. It's going to be a new chapter in my life and I'm excited about it," he said.

Khloe Kardashian is reportedly seeing fertility experts in a bid to get pregnant. The reality TV star - who has made no secret of her desire to have a baby with her husband of two years, Lamar Odom - has been researching top specialists in Dallas, Texas, following her and Lamar's move there late last year.
"Khloe has been meeting with fertility doctors in Dallas, and Lamar has been going with her to several appointments. It makes sense for her to have a fertility doctor in Dallas, as well as Los Angeles. Khloe very much wants to have a baby with Lamar, and their inability to get pregnant has had its rough moments, but this has only made their relationship stronger," said a source close to Khloe, who underwent treatment in her home town of Los Angeles.
The couple - who moved to Dallas after basketball star Lamar was traded to the Dallas Mavericks from the Los Angeles Lakers in December - are also keen to show their baby struggle on their reality TV show so fans can know what's going on.
