The pair were first linked together in June after they appeared "inseparable, holding hands and hooking their arms together" at a Magic Mike after-party.
"Jamie's a really nice guy. He's funny, and a little geeky ... he's into her!" a source added.
Zooey announced her marriage to Death Cab for Cutie singer Ben Gibbard had ended "mutually" and "amicably" in December and claimed there was no one was involved with the split.
The 32-year-old beauty recently admitted she likes intelligent men who make her laugh. "I think intelligence and humor are probably the most attractive traits in a guy," she said. However, she has also said she doesn't feel ready to date, saying, "Honestly, I'm just going through a divorce, so I don't really think [dating] is something I want to get into now. I don't have time to date. I literally don't have time."

However the star, who has openly battled an addiction to alcohol, wants her fans and friends to know she appreciates their concern. "I would like to thank all my fans as well as my friends from the Hollywood community for the heartwarming calls and emails about those unfortunate and dramatic pictures. Looking at the pictures I can understand the level of worrying, but I can assure everyone that there is no cause for alarm. I have been on the road working non-stop for such a long time, fulfilling my professional commitments, shooting shows around the world with all the pressure that comes with it," she said.
The 49-year-old actress was pictured over the weekend drinking directly from a bottle of Popov vodka and also from an unlabeled mini bottle. She chain smoked cigarettes and later stumbled to the grass where she appeared to pass out.
"That combined with major health issues in my family drove me to the unfortunate circumstances that you can see on the pictures. At that moment in time, I felt like I needed a moment to myself, in a park. The vodka came about as a desperate move to try to release some pressure and is under no circumstances an indication of how I lead my life on a day to day basis," she said.

The Danish actress - who has previously entered rehab in 2007 for alcohol issues - swigged from a vodka bottle and chain smoked cigarettes while sitting alone on a park bench, before appearing to take a nap. The 49-year-old star also appeared to vomit before using mouthwash to freshen her breath before walking back to her house in Hollywood.
"It was sad to see her brought so low. She needs help," an onlooker said.
Speaking previously about her battle with booze, Brigitte - who was previously married to Sylvester Stallone and is currently with Mattia Dessi, her fifth husband - said alcohol turned her into an "ugly" person. "Booze turned me into a bad mum, an ugly, depressed woman and a complete loser. I heard voices in my head telling me to drink. I even drank just to pick up the phone because I felt such self-loathing and embarrassment," she said.

Lindsay Lohan claims she is not responsible for a paparazzo being hit by her car.
Photographer Grigor Baylan claims he was run over by a car being driven by Lindsay's assistant in January 2010 when the actress was trying to make a quick departure from a Hollywood nightclub, but Lindsay insists it was his own fault. Gossip website TMZ reports Lindsay claims Mr. Balyan "carelessly put himself near a moving automobile" and caused his own injuries and she shouldn't have to pay anything.
The photographer's lawyer, Neil Steiner, previously said that the actress was being targeted in the case because her assistant was at the wheel and operating under her instruction. Mr. Steiner said he had contacted Lindsay's insurance company to settle the claim but they only made an "insignificant offer." The lawyer insisted he was only seeking "reasonable compensation" for his client, who received hospital treatment following the incident.

Katy Perry is dating John Mayer. The "Wide Awake" singer was seen enjoying a romantic meal with the "Gravity" singer at the Chateau Marmont in Hollywood last night, and onlookers say they looked totally smitten with each other.
"They were holding hands across the table, sneaking kisses, and laughing," one source told Us Weekly. They were then pictured leaving the exclusive venue in John's car.

The former couple got married in August last year and announced their divorce at the end of October that year. Basketball player, Kris, has since been claiming their marriage was a fraud and has anecdotal evidence to prove it. Apparently he plans to argue in his court case that the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star often pushed him out of the frame when pictures were being taken when together, so that she would receive the maximum amount of attention.
"Kris plans on testifying at the upcoming divorce trial that Kim would often tell him to get out of the shot when photographers would descend upon them. Kim would complain that because of Kris's height, he was blocking the photographers' clear shot of her. Kim would get very upset if he didn't move quickly enough. The reason for doing this - so that the press could get an unobstructed view of Kim's outfit. Kim would pore over what the press was writing about her, and she would become upset if her picture didn't look good," an insider said.

Alec Baldwin Has Second Photographer Altercation

The 30 Rock actor was involved in a scuffle in New York City where he squeezed a paparazzo's arm and verbally blasted him. The incident took place in the middle of the street outside the star's apartment building, where he was seen shouting profanities while holding a pink stuffed animal toy according to website TMZ.com.
After the photographer allegedly told a local resident to "f**k off" when he was asked to leave the area, Alec waded in. "I want you to shut the f**k up ... leave my neighbor alone ... get outta here," he said.
In a video obtained by the website, Alec later adds insult to the man, saying, "You little girl."
The New York Police Department is still investigating the actor for an assault outside a court incident.

The 30 Rock star was leaving the New York City Marriage License Bureau with fiancee Hilaria Thomas when he got into an altercation with paparazzo Marcus Santos.
"He was looking mad. He said, 'Step back, step back.' I said, 'We're moving back,'" Marcus told The New York Daily News. According to the publication, Alec grabbed a second photographer, prompting Marcus to tell him to back off. "I said, 'Don't touch him.' I knew he was going to attack me. I stepped back, and he kept coming. He comes after me, starts shoving and punching me - one time, right in the chin. And then he started shoving me, and pushing me. Then he goes the other way," Marcus added.
"He was like crazy, you know? There was an eruption of mad. ... You're going to get a marriage license, you should be happy. What happened with this guy?" added fellow photographer Goran Veljic.

Justin Bieber Accused of Assault

The 18-year-old pop star was allegedly involved in a physical altercation with a photographer at The Commons mall in Calabasas, California - where he has just purchased a $6.5 million mansion - after a paparazzo attempted to take pictures of the "Boyfriend" singer and his girlfriend Selena Gomez.
Following the incident, the photographer called the police before he was taken to hospital complaining of chest pains, but he was discharged shortly afterwards, TMZ.com reports.
When police arrived at the scene Justin and Selena had already left the shopping center - where they had gone to watch a film - but the officials are hoping to speak to the "Never Say Never" hitmaker and any other witnesses about the altercation after the snapper filed a report to the police naming Justin as the culprit. Witnesses, however, have claimed the paparazzo was blocking Justin's car in as he was trying to leave the shopping center, and the singer is then said to have got out of the vehicle to ask him to move away but he didn't so a scuffle broke out.

Simon Cowell thinks Cheryl Cole shouldn't complain about the paparazzi.
The media mogul - who sensationally sacked the British singer from the US version of The X Factor after she had worked on just four auditions - does not believe the "Call My Name" star should get upset about public scrutiny because she is rich and famous.
"Cheryl has to accept the fact that if you are popular and you are cute, you are going to get photographed. Look, if someone had said to Cheryl when she was auditioning for [TV show] Popstars: The Rivals, 'By the way, the downside is that you're going to be a millionaire, you're going to be one of the most famous people in the world, but guess what, you're going to have your picture taken,' you think Cheryl would have said, 'Oh, I don't think I'll go through it then'? I mean, come on, I don't think so," he told GQ.
