Charlie SheenCharlie Sheen may be taking his media rants to a whole new level. The actor joined Twitter on Tuesday, gaining 300,000-plus followers within hours and offering up a picture of one of his “goddesses” almost immediately. In his bio, Sheen describes himself as “an unemployed winner.”

“Just got invited to do the Nancy Grace show… I’d rather go on a long road trip with Chuck Lorre in a ‘75 Pacer…” Sheen tweeted on Tuesday night.

Sheen was as busy on Tuesday as he was on Monday. He called into Howard Stern's radio show, saying “I have to right this unconscionable wrong.” He added, “Many people are suffering and I’m the only guy who can effect a change.”

The Two and a Half Men actor is referring to the studio’s decision to cancel production for the remainder of the eighth season.

Charlie Sheen says that he’s clean and focused following an “epiphanous awakening,” and when we figure out just what he means by that we’ll let you know. “I’m on a quest to claim absolute victory on every front,” he told Piers Morgan on CNN.

If victory means practically monopolizing the media, Sheen’s already there. The actor's publicist quit on Monday, saying he is “unable to work effectively” at his job, and it’s no wonder. Charlie Sheen has been calling TMZ, CNN, Good Morning America and -- it seems -- anyone else who’ll pick up the phone.

Charlie SheenCharlie Sheen thinks Two and a Half Men is a “pukefest that everyone worships.” At least, that’s what he said when he called into Fox Sports Radio on Friday. His statement surely crossed a line with many sitcom fans, but that was just a warm-up.

The actor already nabbed headlines by making controversial comments about his producers, and he's still talking. On the back of Sheen's Thursday comments, production on Two and a Half Men was canceled. Maybe he thinks it can't get any worse?

“These guys are a couple of AA Nazis, blatant hypocrites,” Sheen said of the joint decision by CBS and Warner Bros. to halt production on his show. “They don’t practice what they preach.”

He continues to challenge Chuck Lorre to any media venue who will listen, repeatedly offering to physically engage Lorre in a wrestling/boxing/ultimate fighting match of some sort. Sheen has, thus far, slammed the writer/director/producer to Conan O’Brien, TMZ, Fox Sports Radio and Good Morning America. The actor is still in the Bahamas, currently with a porn star and a magazine model. His ex-wife Brooke Mueller was also with the group, but she went back to Los Angeles on Thursday.

Charlie SheenCharlie Sheen, who is purportedly in the midst of an at-home rehab, released a statement to the public recently. In it, he compares himself to a silver screen legend and thanks those who have supported him.

“I have a lot of work to do to be able to return the support I have received from so many people,” said Sheen, before going on to thank his “fellow cast members, the crew of Two and Half Men and everyone at CBS and Warner Bros., especially Les Moonves and Bruce Rosenblum for their concern and support.” Moonves is the president of CBS, Rosenblum the Pres. of Warner Bros.

“And to my fans, your good wishes have touched me very much.” He continued, “Like Errol Flynn, who had to put down his sword on occasion, I just want to say, ‘thank-you.’”

Flynn, who played in many action adventure movies (notably, the Adventures of Robin Hood), also struggled with addiction during his lengthy Hollywood career. Flynn died at age 50.

Sheen is rehabbing following a well-publicized, alleged cocaine binge. He was hospitalized and subsequently released for a "hernia problem." TMZ has obtained audio of the 911 call made on Sheen's behalf when the incident occurred.

David ArquetteUPDATE: Courteney Cox has responded. Read her statement here.

The new year hasn't brought much fortune or resolution to David Arquette just yet. The 39 year-old checked into rehab, which a source close to the actor say has been much needed, considering his recent separation from wife Courteney Cox.

The reason for admittance is surprisingly normal -- at least for Hollywood standards: "He is in there for drinking and depression, not hard drugs. Rehab was inevitable. He is dealing with a broken heart. He can't handle all the changes in his life. All his inner demons came out," the source said.

No word yet from Courteney, who has said that their separation does not mean divorce.

Maybe David ought to ask Lindsay for some advice; she ought to have enough experience with rehab facilities. She may even invite him to one of her Betty Ford parties.

Demi Lovato

Demi Lovato has abruptly ended her international tour with the Jonas Brothers – and the exit has nothing to do with ex-boyfriend Joe Jonas.

According to a rep for the 18-year-old actress/singer, Demi “left her tour early this weekend in order to seek medical treatment for emotional and physical issues she has dealt with for some time.”

The Sonny with a Chance star "has decided to take personal responsibility for her actions and seek help,” the statement read. “Demi and her family ask that the media please respect their privacy during this difficult time. She regrets not being able to finish her tour, but is looking forward to getting back to work in the near future."

Rumor has it that Mel Gibson is seriously considering breaking his silence and coming forward. The main topics of discussion? Gibson will probably address his well-publicized domestic problems, being fired from The Hangover 2 ... and, if he’s smart, he’ll probably liberally pepper his speech with “I’m sorry.”

The actor has his pick of venues, but sources say he’s leaning toward The Today Show’s Matt Lauer. Mel Gibson had a disastrous interview with Diane Sawyer after his infamous anti-Semitic comments, and those in the know say he doesn’t want another bad interview on record.
