Stephen BaldwinStephen Baldwin is set to agree a deal over an alleged unpaid $350,000 tax bill.

The 46-year-old actor is accused of failing to pay income tax in Rockland County, 15 miles northwest of Manhattan, for the years 2008, 2009 and 2010 but his attorney Russell Yankwitt says he will avoid prison and get up to five years to pay back the money owed, according to Fox News.

He added that under the deal, Stephen will plead guilty this month to a tax felony and if he manages to pay the money back in one year, his record will be wiped clean.

Stephen's arrest for tax evasion in December came six months after a court rejected the born-again Christian's claim that he and a friend missed out on a lucrative contract with oil company BP thanks to Kevin Costner and his business partner in oil cleanup, Patrick Smith.

Russell BrandRussell Brand is being sued for $185,000 in damages by a pedestrian. The comedian - who was first sued for $25,000 by Victor Sneed last year - has now been hit by an even bigger legal claim as the alleged victim claims he needs greater financial compensation after being mowed down by a car last October, which he says Russell was driving.

Victor alleges his mammoth medical bill needs to be paid for injuries to his left hand, left arm, left hip, neck and left wrist. He claims he's already spent $45,000 in medical expenses and will need yet another $140,000 for future surgeries.

However, Russell has strongly denied the claims and refuses to cough up the cash, believing Victor's "own negligence" was to blame for the accident. A court document reads, "Under the provisions of the California Code of Civil Procedure, [Russell Brand] denies both generally and specially each, every and all of the allegations contained in the Complaint, and denies that plaintiff [Victor Sneed] sustained damages in the sum alleged, or in any other sum or at all. Plaintiff is barred from any recovery on the basis that the plaintiff's own negligence was the sole and proximate cause of the accident and injuries he sustained."

Lindsay LohanLindsay Lohan is refusing to accept a plea deal which includes rehab or jail.

The 26-year-old actress has been offered 45 days in jail or 60 in rehab by prosecutors after being charged with lying to police about a car accident in California last summer but she has rejected both as she doesn't want any type of confinement.

"The Los Angeles City Attorney is requiring either jail time or rehab for Lindsay as part of any plea deal in her lying to cops case. She would have to go to rehab for at least 60 days, and the jail time would be at least 45 days. Lindsay refuses to accept any deal that has any type of confinement as part of the deal. Someone with her criminal history is lucky to be offered such a great deal, but she just doesn't seem to understand that. Barring any last shred of common sense on Lindsay's part, this case is going to trial," a source said.

Alyson HanniganAlyson Hannigan's alleged stalker isn't fighting her application for a restraining order.

The How I Met Your Mother actress obtained a temporary order against John Hobbs in February after he was accused of sending her harassing messages online and threatening to kill her and a hearing about extending the order was scheduled to take place today.

Hobbs - whom Alyson says was recently discharged from a mental hospital and is mentally unstable - is said to have already agreed to stay at least 100 yards from her and her family for the next three years, TMZ reports.

The flame-haired star previously claimed Hobbs has repeatedly threatened her and her husband Alexis Denisof as well as their two young daughters, Satyana, three, and nine-month-old Keeva. Alyson petitioned the courts after receiving a "barrage of threatening messages" and feeling "severe fear for my safety and the safety of my family."

Demi MooreDemi Moore is planning to divorce Ashton Kutcher.

The actress will finally take legal action to officially separate from the Two and a Half Men star - 16 months after their 2011 split - because she has reportedly "had enough" of the ongoing disagreement over the financial settlement.

A source told the New York Post newspaper she could file for divorce as early as next Tuesday, and explained, "Ashton has been very difficult during the talks - you could even say he has been hostile. After over a year of attempting to reach a settlement, Demi is definitely ready to move on. It's hoped lawyers for both sides can reach a settlement this spring, otherwise the divorce will go into litigation and trial."

Hollywood joker Ashton was quick to move on with Oz the Great and Powerful actress Mila Kunis and only filed for divorce in December 2012, but the estranged spouses have been engaged in a battle over money ever since.

Linsday LohanLindsay Lohan's lawyer is working on a plea bargain which would see her avoid rehab.

The 26-year-old actress - who has been accused of lying to police about whether or not she was driving during an accident on the Pacific Coast Highway last year - previously rejected a proposed deal that would allow her avoid jail time in return for a 60-day stint in rehab but she may still manage to remain out of prison.

"A plea deal could be reached without Lindsay being forced to go into treatment. Since she wasn't arrestedor charged with crimes related to drugs or alcohol a plea deal requiring her to go to rehab isn't the only way a resolution can be reached. There are other possibilities including the options of Lohan undergoing extensive counseling and lengthy community service," a source said.

Lindsay's attorney Mark Heller has been working with prosecutors to try to iron out an agreement. "Talks between Mark Heller, and the City Attorney's office are ongoing and both sides are hopeful a plea deal can be reached soon that is mutually agreeable," the source added.

Katherine JacksonKatherine Jackson's civil lawsuit against AEG Live will go to trial.

Katherine wants the concert promoter to face action as she says they were responsible for hiring Doctor Conrad Murray to care for her son Michael Jackson prior to his death from acute Propofol intoxication in 2009.

And while Superior Court Judge Yvette Palazuelos dismissed all but one claim in Katherine's lawsuit, her allegation AEG negligently hired and supervised Dr. Murray while he cared for her son will go to trial. The ruling dismissed claims AEG could be held liable for Murray's conduct and breached its duty to properly care for the pop superstar.

The trial will start on April 2.

AEG Live was promoting Michael's This Is It comeback concerts at The O2 arena in London, but the "Thriller" hitmaker died in June 2009, aged 50, while in final preparations for the shows after Murray administered a lethal dose of the anaesthetic Propofol in Michael's bedroom.

Mark HellerLindsay Lohan's lawyer has been branded a liar after claiming she suffered a concussion from her car accident last June.

The 26-year-old troubled starlet - who is set to go on trial on March 18 for violating her probation after allegedly lying to police about driving her Porsche when she crashed on the Pacific Coast Highway last summer - was in no state to be questioned by police at the time because she had a head injury, according to her New York attorney Mark Heller, who was labelled ''incompetent'' by Judge James Dabney yesterday.

But law enforcement officials told gossip website RadarOnline.com, "The doctors who treated Lindsay on the day of her car accident last summer didn't diagnose her with a concussion. She suffered no injury to her head whatsoever. She did have bruised ribs, and she was very sore, but that was her only significant injury. Lindsay had a CT scan of her head, neck, and spine and there was no injury. Not only that, but Lindsay went back to work after leaving the hospital. For Mark Heller to claim that Lindsay had a concussion is an absolute and blatant lie. When she was questioned by cops at the emergency room, she wasn't denied any medical attention because of them."

Mischa BartonMischa Barton refuses to pay her former sobriety coaches. The former The O.C. actress turned handbag designer was ordered to pay Doctors' Choice Nursing (DCN) $95,000 for services they provided her in 2009, but she claims she is not responsible for the outstanding bill as she didn't hire the team to look after her.

A default judgment was entered against the 27-year-old star in 2011 after she failed to show up in court when the company filed a lawsuit to recoup the money owed to them for helping her to stay sober. But Mischa's lawyer argued in court on Thursday that her mother hired the sobriety nurses and therefore she ran up the bills so the actress isn't responsible for them, according to gossip website TMZ.com.

The Bhopal: A Prayer for Rain actress is fighting the default judgment and her lawyer pointed out that the owner of the DCN failed to notify Mischa directly about the mounting bill, saying it didn't make sense if they thought she was responsible for paying it. The owner claimed that she didn't want to add to Mischa's stress, as it was the nurses' job to keep her sober before an important acting role in 2009, the same year that she was starring in The Beautiful Life and was legally held in hospital under psychiatric observation.

Mary J. BligeMary J. Blige has been slapped with a huge tax bill. The 42-year-old singer - who was sued earlier this month for allegedly defaulting on a $500,000 bank loan - owes $901,769.65 to the State of New Jersey.

According to documents seen by gossip website TMZ.com, the 'No More Drama' singer owes the huge sum in back taxes and it is the latest in a string of financial problems for the star. A lawsuit filed by Bank of America in New York State Supreme Court earlier this month accused her of failing to make re-payments on a $500,000 loan she took out in 2005 since June 2012.

In another lawsuit filed last November, the singer and her husband, Martin Isaacs were also accused of defaulting on a $2.2 million loan from Manhattan's Signature Bank. The financial institution is seeking the full loan amount, which was taken out in October 2011 and due to be paid back by July 2012, along with $58,000 in interest.

The "Family Affair" singer's production company, Mary Jane Productions Inc., was also named in the lawsuit.
