The Michael Jackson tribute show stage will feature a giant crown.
A host of international stars will pay tribute to the late star, who was known as the King of Pop, by performing on a specially designed stage dominated by a gold crown at the Schonbrunn Palace in Vienna, Austria, on September 26.
Georg Kindel, who is organizer and chief executive of the concert, said, “The stage will be 50 meters wide with a depth of 25 meters. It has really huge dimensions. It will have a giant glass roof which will be dominated by a giant crown. There will also be a large crown on the stage floor. It will have the feel of a baroque theater with boxes on the side and claret curtains. It will also have a large translucent curtain at the back.”

The Jacksons will reunite at the Michael Jackson tribute concert… and possibly perform?
Jermaine Jackson, who shot to fame in The Jackson 5 alongside his brothers Jackie, Tito, Marlon and Michael, has refused to rule out joining his musical family on stage at the show he is planning in Vienna, Austria, on September 26.
When asked if he plans to perform with his siblings, Jermaine said, “That could be one of the surprises. Being a producer I wanted to put a show together because it is a family thing. My family is very busy, Janet is doing something right now. I have invited all of them, so, you never know—once the music hits them they will probably want to come up and perform and do what they know how to do. But definitely I have committed myself to performing.”
Jermaine revealed he has invited his mother Katherine Jackson to the event, along with Michael’s three children—Prince Michael I, 12, Paris, 11, and seven-year-old Prince Michael II, also known as “Blanket.”
“I spoke to my mother and I said I wanted to do something for the fans in Europe. She has supported this from the very start.”

Leona Lewis wishes she could “just sing” and forget about red carpets and promotional tours.
The “Happy” singer sometimes dreams about throwing away her celebrity lifestyle for a more normal existence, but will put up with almost anything if it will “help people.”
“I definitely have moments when I come home and shut the door and think that all I want to do is sing. But then I think, wait a minute—how are people going to hear my music? The bottom line is that if I can inspire, create awareness and help someone or an animal in any way, then it’s all been worth it.”

Madonna is making moves to reconcile with her brother.
The “Miles Away” singer fell out with Christopher Ciconne over a tell-all book he wrote about the star, which alleged her then husband Guy Ritchie was a homophobe and blamed him for the breakdown of his relationship with his sister.
Madonna was outraged with the publication of Life With My Sister Madonna last year, but is now making steps toward speaking with her brother again—and has sent him tentative emails.
“Madonna did it more for her family than for herself. Her feud with Chris was creating huge tension within the family so she decided to be the bigger person. At one point Madonna wanted all the family to cut off Chris, but her father wasn’t willing. It’s been a nightmare ever since. She’s calmed down about the book and had time to think. She realizes blood is thicker than water and has said she will meet with him this year in LA,” a source told Britain’s Sunday Mirror.

The raging wildfire in California might be looming nearby, but the Shambala Preserve isn’t going anywhere. This Acton, California-based preserve is home to Michael Jackson’s two tigers, among other rescued and donated animals.
Shambala is owned by Tippi Hedren (Melanie Griffith’s mother, star of Hitchcock flicks The Birds and Marnie). Betty White, Bo Derek, Loni Anderson and other celebs are on the advisory board for the Preserve. Just south of Palmdale, California, the property is very close to the fires which continue to burn on a colossal scale.

Michael Jackson‘s children have written emotional goodbye letters, set to be placed in his coffin. Prince Michael I, 12, Paris, 11 and seven-year-old Prince Michael II, also known as Blanket, scrawled messages including “Daddy we love you” and “Daddy we miss you” on notes that will be buried with the King of Pop on Thursday.
The singer’s brother Marlon has spoken about the letters and other details of Michael’s funeral, which will be held in the family’s compound at the Los Angeles Forest Lawn Memorial Park. He claims Michael will also be buried with his trademark white glove, and has been fitted with a new shoulder-length wig. The star’s face has also been painted with full stage makeup.
Marlon told Britain’s Sunday Mirror newspaper: “This will be a private ceremony. His hairstylist has made his hair special and a make-up artist has gone in and fixed him up so he’s ready for the big day. This will be Michael’s final curtain call—the last show. His shell will be gone, but his spirit lives on.”

Reese Witherspoon is as sweet onscreen as she is in real life, paying for a woman’s groceries after she forgot her wallet.
The 33-year-old Hollywood star, who has two children with her ex-husband Ryan Phillippe, took pity on a stressed mother at a Whole Foods store in Los Angeles by helping her out with her food bill.
A source said: “Reese knows that kids make you lose your mind. When she spotted a harried mom who had forgotten her wallet she picked up the tab. The woman was so flustered and embarrassed. But Reese said she would gladly take care of the $70 bill and no apology was necessary. She told the mom, ‘I understand, I have kids too!’”
Reese, who has a nine-year-old daughter Ava and son Deacon, five, is currently dating actor Jake Gyllenhaal.

Australian singer-songwriter Peter Andre is in talks to stage a Michael Jackson tribute concert.
The “Behind Closed Doors” singer has been in “regular contact” with Michael’s sister La Toya and is hoping to meet her next week to “finalize” their plans for a show.
The 36-year-old star revealed in New! magazine:
“Over the last few weeks I have been in regular contact with La Toya Jackson about some kind of tribute for her brother, Michael. Everyone who knows me knows how much I idolized Michael and how much his music influenced me, so I feel really honored to be part of this. There isn’t anything quite set in stone yet but we have four or five ideas, including a tribute concert or a TV special. La Toya is flying to the UK next week, so we are going to meet up and hopefully put our ideas into action. La Toya is one of the few Jacksons I haven’t met yet, so I am really looking forward to spending some time with her.”

Cameron Diaz doesn’t believe in regularly flush the toilet after each use. Cameron does all she can to be environmentally friendly, and believes it is a waste of water to flush every time she relieves herself. “I do follow the, ‘If it’s yellow leave it mellow, if it’s brown flush it down’ saying. I believe in that 100 percent. But there are a couple of rules. You can’t go more than two or three times, if it’s consecutive, if you’re drinking a lot of water, without flushing. But if you have coffee or something, it’s going down!” Good to know, Cameron.
The 36-year-old actress—who drives a Toyota Prius, a hybrid electric car—has been interested in green issues since she was a child, and credits her parents with making her environmentally aware. As she explained on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, “It’s one of those things that is just a lifestyle choice. I was brought up that way so it’s something that I automatically do. I’m rigged that way.”
