Will Ferrell Launches Comic-Con in Full Costume
Posted by K.C. Morgan Categories: Movies, Fashion Police, Photos,
Will Ferrell scored laughs and applause when he appeared on the Comic-Con stage in a blue costume with a large domed head early Thursday morning.
Ferrell wore the get-up in a nod to his character Megamind, the title star in the new Dreamworks flick of the same name.
The comedian brought a box of doughnuts and a jug of orange juice with him - breakfast for 6,500 panel members. “I didn’t think there would be so many of you,” Ferrel explained.
He was later joined by Megamind co-stars Tina Fey and Jonah Hill. Brad Pitt, who plays the superhero Metro Man, was not in attendance - though he was represented by a large, cardboard cut-out.

Questionable Outfit of the Day: Jada Pinkett Smith
Posted by Veronica Santiago Categories: Movies, Television, Clothing, Fashion Police, Red Carpet, Style,
If someone has to guess whether you’re wearing hot pants, a swimsuit or just a really long shirt on the red carpet - you probably shouldn’t have worn that outfit to begin with. But Hawthorne‘s Jada Pinkett Smith did, and you can see the questionable result from last night’s BET Awards.
My question is: Why did she bother going to such extremely short lengths, if she was just going to cover it all up with a jacket?

Katy Perry and Russell Brand Order Latex Wedding Outfits
Posted by Robin Paulson Categories: Movies, Music, Weddings, Clothing, Fashion Police, Style, Rumors,
Judging by Katy Perry’s current lust for latex, it’s not too shocking that the “California Gurls” singer decided to purchase similar outfits for her upcoming wedding.
Perry and her fiancé Russell Brand have reportedly ordered a pair of matching latex costumes totaling $4,400 dollars. Who on Earth would actually commit to latex wedding outfits, you may ask? Atsuko Kudo, the man behind Lady Gaga’s Elizabethan gown and nun habit, of course!
“Russell and Katy have both got wicked sense of humors and are big fans of Lady Gaga. They wanted unique outfits and no one dresses like her anywhere in the civilized world. The wedding will certainly be different,” an insider said.
They truly must have a weird sense of humor, considering Katy’s critique of the singer’s latest controversial “Alejandro” video, in which she wears the latex nun habit.
The couple’s skin-tight duds are expected to be completed in September, which has fueled further speculation that they plan to say, “I do,” sometime this fall.

Lady Gaga Trades Bubbles in For Gun Bra
Posted by Robin Paulson Categories: Music, Clothing, Fashion Police, Style, Photos,
Pop
artist Lady Gaga has come a long way since her bubbly, fresh Rolling Stone cover. To prove it, she has ditched the pink lipstick and blonde afro for assault rifles and slick bob.
Still barely clothed for her second Rolling Stones cover, Gaga displays a current habit of reusing her music video wardrobe (i.e. “Telephone” studded bra and panties at a recent Mets game), as it’s obvious these are the same guns from her Alejandro video. Economical or tiresome?

Miley Cyrus: Too Sexy for Seventeen
Posted by K.C. Morgan Categories: Music, Television, Child Stars, Clothing, Fashion Police, Style, Paparazzi Photos, Rumors,
This photograph of a mostly-naked Miley Cyrus is totally legal - though, we aren’t too sure why. The pop songstress stepped out on Sunday to visit the MuchMusic Awards in Toronto wearing this barely-there creation of mesh and leather.
Cyrus was in the middle of huge media controversy last week when blogger Perez Hilton posted a questionable photo of her exiting a car. In the pic, it was difficult to tell whether or not Cyrus was wearing underwear, thereby exposing a very private area of her body. Anyone who distributes such a picture would be guilty of child pornography.
And yet, she’s well within her rights to wear outfits like this.

Quote of the Day: Miley Cyrus Defends Her Wardrobe
Posted by Robin Paulson Categories: Music, Child Stars, Clothing, Fashion Police, Style,
“I’m not trying to be ‘slutty.’ I’m not trying to be, like, go to the club and get a bunch of guys. What I’m trying to do is make a point with my record and look consistent, in the way my record sounds and the way I dress… I feel more comfortable dressing with a little less, which is just how I’ve always been… Now I’m able to do that a little more freely and, also, I’ve just grown up to be this way too. It’s not like this was me five years ago. It’s me now, presently… That’s not what I’m trying to do to sell records. I want people to buy my record because of my music.”

Embarrassing Outfit of the Day: Lady Gaga
Posted by Veronica Santiago Categories: Music, Fashion Police,
After a coffee run in Los Angeles on Thursday, Lady Gaga nearly gave the paparazzi a show when she walked out with her shorts unzipped. (You can see another photo after the jump.)
Although I highly doubt the singer would apologize for any item in this ensemble, I’m going to assume that’s the one detail she didn’t plan out.
