Shortly after news of Courteney Cox and David Arquette’s separation got out, the couple of 11 years released this joint statement:
“We have agreed to a trial separation that dates back for some time. The reason for this separation is to better understand ourselves and the qualities we need in a partner and for our marriage. We remain best friends and responsible parents to our daughter and we still love each other deeply.
As we go though this process we are determined to use kindness and understanding to get through this together. We are comfortable with the boundaries that we have established for each other during this separation and we hope that our friends, family, fans and the media also show us respect, dignity, understanding and love at this time as well.”

David Arquette and Courteney Cox Separated

Although the two have openly talked about attending counseling sessions before and during their marriage, it appears David Arquette and Courteney Cox may have had some issues that couldn’t be worked out.
According to several outlets, the actors—married back in June 1999—have been separated for several months now. Sources claim the two have been living apart but are “still friends.”
This news comes shortly after David was reportedly snapped with another woman. Meanwhile, Star magazine claimed back in May that Cox was spied having an intimate dinner with Brian Van Holt – the actor who plays her ex-husband on Cougar Town.

Ben Harper will soon have to steal his kisses from someone else. After nearly five years of marriage, the singer’s marriage to actress Laura Dern is coming to an end.
On Friday, Harper officially filed for divorce from the Oscar nominee. This move comes months after the two reportedly separated. “Irreconcilable differences” were listed as the reason on court documents.
Laura and Ben, wed in December 2005, have two children together. The Grammy winner is seeking joint custody of their nine-year-old son and five-year-old daughter.
Prior to meeting Harper, Dern had been engaged to actor Billy Bob Thornton. That relationship ended when Thornton became involved with his Pushing Tin costar, Angelina Jolie.

Celebrity Chatter: Seth Rogen Engaged, George Lopez Divorcing

-Knocked Up star Seth Rogen is about to play a husband. The 28-year-old proposed to writer/actress Lauren Miller—his girlfriend since 2004—last week.
-Talk show host George Lopez and his wife are divorcing after 17 years of marriage. A rep calls the spit “amicable and by mutual agreement.” Ann donated a kidney to the comedian back in 2005.
-Heart singer/guitarist Nancy Wilson and director hubby Cameron Crowe (Jerry Maguire) are ending their marriage after 24 years together. The two have actually been separated since 2008.
-Comedian Greg Giraldo is in critical condition after a reported “accidental overdose.” A source claims Greg, a fixture on Comedy Central’s raunchy roasts, had been taking prescription pills.

Turns out we were right after all … we think.
Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag looked like anything but a couple on the brink of a February divorce when they were spotted recently celebrating Heidi’s 24th birthday. The couple was also recently stopped traveling (together) back to the States from Costa Rica. Now, new
rumors about their trip outside the country have been unearthed, and there’s strong reason to suspect the entire breakup was a publicity stunt … which is just so Speidi.
A source says the couple shared a house together for most of the summer, making extensive changes to the property while they were there. Trees were planted along the front of house to provide privacy, the pool water was changed from chlorine to salt water…they even fired the gardener. The couple announced their break up in May. Heidi Montag officially filed for divorce in July.

A newly-single Tiger Woods addressed the media today, hours after his ex-wife’s interview with People was revealed.
During a press conference at The Barclays golf tournament in New Jersey, the 34-year-old said he wished Elin Nordegren “the best and everything.” “It’s a sad time in our lives. And we’re looking forward to in our lives and how we can help our kids the best way we possibly can. And that’s the most important thing.”

Elin Nordegren Speaks Out for First - and Last - Time

Two days after her divorce was finalized, we’re finally learning – from Elin Nordegren directly – what happened toward the end of her marriage to Tiger Woods.
During an exclusive interview with People magazine, the 30-year-old mother of two set out to address several topics – including the rumors surrounding Tiger’s car accident and her knowledge of his affairs.
Although numerous women have linked themselves publicly with the golfer, his now ex-wife says she never had a clue. “I’m so embarrassed that I never suspected — not a one,” Elin admits. “For the past 3½ years, when all this was going on, I was home a lot more with pregnancies, then the children and my school.”
And while it would be understandable for her to fly into a rage upon making that discovery, Nordegren claims she never hit her husband on that Thanksgiving night last year. “There was never any violence inside or outside our home,” she insists. “The speculation that I would have used a golf club to hit him is just truly ridiculous.”

Tiger Woods and Elin Nordegren Officially Divorced

Nearly six months after his public apology to his wife, Tiger Woods’ marriage to Elin Nordegren is officially over.
Both parties appeared briefly in a Florida courtroom today to finalize their agreement.
The divorce came nearly 9 months after Tiger Woods hit both a tree and a hydrant outside of the family home in Florida. That incident lead to a string of reports about the golf star’s infidelities.
No financial details about the split have been made public, but the two will reportedly “share custody” of their two children - daughter Sam, 3, and son Charlie, 19 months – according to a statement on Woods’ website.

Heidi Montag Taking Legal Action to Prevent Spencer Pratt Tell-All

Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag have at least one more thing to argue about. The soon-to-be-divorced couple is squabbling over Pratt’s future plans to pen a tell-all book about his private life with Heidi Montag.
“This is exactly why I left him,” Montag told reporters when asked about the book. “Right now, I’m looking into my legal options.”
In an interview with Us Weekly, Spencer Pratt said his book will detail his entire relationship with Heidi. The tell-all will also contain details about Montag’s family life, particularly her relationship with her mother Darlene Egelhoff.
Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag will be divorced on Valentine’s Day 2011. Heidi formally filed for divorce on the couple’s first wedding anniversary.

Divorce for Patricia Arquette and Thomas Jane

Watch out, ladies—a Hung celebrity is now available.
After four years of marriage, Medium‘s Patricia Arquette and husband Thomas Jane have announced that they are divorcing.
This decision comes after an earlier divorce filing by Arquette in January 2009 and an attempted reconciliation.
Although the two were wed in 2006, they first met back in 2001. Harlow Olivia Calliope, their only child together, arrived in February 2003.
“The split is completely amicable and their prime focus is their daughter,” a rep for the HBO actor claims. “They ask that their privacy be respected at this time.”
