“This is not like we’re getting divorced,” actress Courteney Cox explained in a recent interview. “This is a separation.” The interview with TV Week is the first time Cox has spoken publicly about her martial troubles with husband David Arquette, who came forward to speak to the press almost immediately after the news first broke.

“I don’t know what will happen,” Cox said. “What is supposed to happen will be the best thing for us.”

In the interview, Cox says that she and husband David grew apart some time in the course of their 11-year marriage.

She also gracefully responded to her husband’s interview with Howard Stern, which many people felt sounded insensitive. “It’s not shocking and Howard Stern, he loves him, and I’m a fan of Howard Stern,” she said. “David is an entertainer and I’m sure the people who listen to the radio are entertained by his stories.”

While David Arquette has faced the separation in a more public fashion, Cox has been getting support from a former Friends costar, telling Australia’s TV Week, “Jennifer [Aniston] has been amazing for sure.”

Christina Aguilera and Jordan BratmanDoes Christina Aguilera really blame her husband for her failed album? Did the singer really have an open marriage? Those are questions you will not find answers for in Aguilera’s recent interview with Redbook.

“Out of respect for my husband, I prefer to keep the specifics private. Right now, I’m just trying to figure out how to make it through each day,” Aguilera states in the magazine’s December issue.

Although Christina was tight-lipped about the reasons behind the separation, she does address the end of her nearly five-year marriage.

“It’s not easy, and there have been a lot of tears and sadness,” she said just one day after the separation was announced. “It’s impossible to redefine yourself and your life overnight. Thankfully, I have my mom and a small group of close friends who are there for me 24/7 and whom I can trust and depend on. On days when it feels impossible to even get out of bed, much less function as a mother, their support and encouragement have kept me moving forward.”

We should be expecting to hear more from Aguilera in the coming weeks. Her new movie, Burlesque, opens this Thanksgiving.

UsherUsher admits his pending divorce from Tameka Foster has put him off getting married again, but he is tempted to find some "open-minded" women to keep him company instead.

"Seeing how marriage didn't work out for me the first time, I'm in no rush to do it again," the hitmaker said. "Maybe I can find a couple of women who are open-minded. Look at how Hugh Hefner does it, with a harem of women."

The 32-year-old singer filed for divorce from Tameka -- with whom he has two children -- last year, claiming they had been living separately for months. Although he says the split was difficult, he claims his career was boosted because people are always interested in "train wrecks."

"In an era when sensationalism is more prevalent than anything, yeah, the split helped my popularity. People love a train wreck," he told Playboy magazine. "Lindsay Lohan - everybody is eager to see how that comes out. This is somewhat the same thing."

Usher doesn't plan on rushing straight into a new relationship, but claims he can be won over by pick-up lines. "Every so often you meet a woman who's very aggressive: 'I'll make you feel things you've never felt in your life.' Or, 'Once you get it, you'll never let it go.' But a couple of times it's worked," he added.
