Scarlett Johansson on CosmopolitanScarlett Johansson claims marrying Ryan Reynolds was the "best thing" she ever did.

The 27-year-old actress wed the Green Lantern star in 2008, and although they split in December 2010, Scarlett is not regretful as she felt it was "instinct" to set up a home with him.

"It was the best thing I ever did. I'm a big believer that when something feels right, you should do it. I'm a big believer in instinct. Getting married was the right thing to do because it was natural. It grew out of romance and love and a desire to have a future with somebody, and I was very fortunate that I married somebody who turned out to be the person I thought he would be."

However, the Avengers beauty admits the pair spent a lot of time away from one another and she was not prepared to do the work necessary to keep their romance alive. "Relationships are complicated. Being married is a living, breathing process. I think I was not fully aware of the peaks and the valleys. I wasn't prepared to hunker down and do the work. Both of us were extremely busy. We spent so much time apart. It's very difficult."

Kim Kardashian divorce

Kim Kardashian is filing for divorce today, Halloween 2011, after just 72 days of marriage. The 31-year-old reality TV star married basketball star Kris Humphries in a lavish televised ceremony in August but after rampant speculation their relationship was trouble, 'Keeping Up with the Kardashians' producer Ryan Seacrest has confirmed a divorce is imminent. He wrote on Twitter: "Yes @kimkardashian is filing for divorce this morning. I touched base with her, getting a statement in just a few mins"

Kim - who attended a Halloween party in New York over the weekend but did not bring Kris along - has reportedly hired divorce lawyer Laura Wasser, who has previously represented Britney Spears, Maria Shriver, Angelina Jolie and Ryan Reynolds and will cite "irreconcilable differences" in her divorce papers, and is not seeking annulment. Sources close to the pair told website TMZ that their arguments over where to live were responsible for the breakdown of the union, with Kris wanting to live in Minnesota while Kim didn't want to leave Los Angeles. Although this has been a source of tension for some time, they decided to try to figure it out after the wedding because they were so caught up with being in love. Kim has previously revealed her marriage to 26-year-old Kris wasn't ideal because of the publicity surrounding their union and said they were finding it hard to get some alone time. She said: "It's not been ideal because you're newlyweds and you want privacy."

Kim and Kris tied the knot in a fairytale ceremony in front of 440 guests in Montecito, California with her sisters Khloe and Kourtney as matron and maid of honour, and her nephew, 23-month old Mason, as ring bearer.

Arnold Schwarzenegger and Maria ShriverDespite the millions he's made in Hollywood action films and the damage he's done in his marriage, Arnold Schwarzenegger does not want to pay Maria Shriver spousal support.

Lawyers for the actor-turned-politician - whose wife left him after discovering he had fathered a child with their former housekeeper - have marked two points of conflict against her divorce petition; her requests for spousal support and that Arnold pays her legal fees.

Lawyer Bob Kaufman, representing Arnold, has asked the judge to strike any right to support on Maria's part, and that each party pay their own legal fees. The couple have no prenuptial agreement, meaning all assets and property accrued during their 25 year marriage - estimated at around $400 million - will be divided equally. Both parties have asked for joint custody of their two minor children, Patrick, 17, and Christopher, 13, and they also have two grown children, Katherine, 21, Christina, 19, together.

While former governor of California Arnold objects to paying his estranged wife support, he is said to be giving a large sum in child support while they work on a divorce settlement. "Arnold is paying a significant amount, and also paying for his sons, Patrick and Christopher's private school bills," a source said.

Jennifer Lopez and Marc AnthonyWell, it definitely lasted longer than anyone could have guessed: Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony have split after seven years of marriage.

The couple - who have three-year-old twins, Max and Emme, together - have decided to call time on their relationship after they both agreed on the "difficult decision."

In a statement released to People magazine, Jennifer and Marc - who wed in June 2004 - said, "We have decided to end our marriage. This was a very difficult decision. We have come to an amicable conclusion on all matters. It is a painful time for all involved and we appreciate the respect of our privacy at this time."

Was she speaking too soon when she said that divorce was never an option four years into her third marriage?

Olivia Wilde and Tao RuspoliOlivia Wilde admits she's a "little wobbly" following her divorce. The Cowboys and Aliens actress split from her husband Tao Ruspoli in February after eight years of marriage and while she admits it was the right thing to do, she says it's been a tough time.

"The trauma of the divorce has been humbling. And for the first time, I'm a little wobbly. I'm a case of arrested development, in a way - from spending your 20s with someone who really loves to take care of you, as my husband did. But I think it's very healthy to spend time alone. You need to know how to be alone and not be defined by another person," the 27-year-old beauty told Marie Claire magazine.

While she still considers Tao a friend, Olivia says it was clear for some time the marriage was going to fail. "When the relationship becomes about working to make it work, it's lost that beauty and that optimistic bohemian sense that brought us together. I kept saying, 'I failed!' admitting that I'm not perfect was a wonderful thing that came out of this," she said. "There's this fear that everyone is going to be disappointed in you, but I'm human. I don't live up to any sort of ideal. Even though it didn't work, there's nothing I regret about any of it."

Ashlee Simpson and Vincent PiazzaDivorcée Ashlee Simpson is dating Boardwalk Empire star Vincent Piazza.

The 26-year-old singer-and-actress - who split up with husband Pete Wentz after just over two years of marriage in February - has been spotted kissing and holding hands with the actor in New York.

It is not the first time Ashlee, who has two-year-old son Bronx Mowgli with former Fall Out Boy star Pete, has spent time with another man since her break-up - she has also enjoyed the company of D.R.U.G.S. front-man Craig Owens, who is a good friend of her ex's.

However, in March Ashlee was seen holding hands with her 32-year-old estranged husband, sparking speculation the pair had reconciled as she "lovingly leaned" on him while out.

"Ashlee and Pete held hands, and Pete especially looked very happy. While waiting for their drinks, Pete had his arm around Ashlee and they definitely looked like a couple again. Ashlee kept smiling and lovingly leaned on Pete," a source said.

Arnold SchwarzeneggerThe tabloids are reporting that the former Governator, Arnold Schwarzenegger, used California taxpayer funds to cover up his philandering ways. In response, the state’s Attorney General will launch an official inquiry.

It’s not just a marital spat anymore. The charges being leveled at Arnold, which come from the head of security at a California hotel, claim that he took advantage of the California Highway Patrol, using his status as Governor to have them escort his various women to and from his regular suite at the Hyatt Regency. The hotel denies all knowledge that they have employed the guard who spoke out, whose name is William Taylor.

Maria Shriver, Arnold Schwarzenegger

Arnold Schwarzenegger successfully hid an affair and an illegitimate child for 13 years, so why did he decide to finally come clean? Was it a change of heart? Was it a buildup of intense guilt? No, it was the classic scenario: the wife found out about it. Did no one learn anything from the Tiger Woods debacle?

RadarOnline and Star report that Maria Shriver was suspicious of Arnold and the housekeeper, Mildred Baena, with whom he fathered a child. Under Shriver’s questioning, Baena broke and admitted to the affair. Arnold finally admitted to his wrongdoing when his wife confronted him.

Shriver has hired a top divorce lawyer, Laura Wasser, though officially no divorce proceedings have been filed. Shriver and Schwarzenegger have been married for 25 years.

Maria Shriver, Arnold Schwarzenegger

Well, this explains the recent separation. What could possibly break up a famously-in-love couple if extreme political rivalry could not? Arnold Schwarzenegger, the former Governator, has revealed that he fathered a child with a member of his staff… oh, about a decade ago. When Maria Shriver found out about it (just recently), she decided to call it quits.

Yeah, that makes sense. The mother of the child, whose identity is being withheld, worked in the household for about twenty years. She retired and now lives in a quiet little home with her four children, one of whom (TMZ reports) bears a marked resemblance to Arnold.
