Lindsay Lohan’s Legal Troubles Piling Up

Posted by K.C. Morgan Categories: Movies, Music, Child Stars, Legal Issues, Paparazzi Photos, Rumors,
Lindsay Lohan dressed conservatively for her court appearance on Tuesday, but even the toned-down look didn’t disguise her from the process server who cornered her in the elevator.
While on her way to discover whether or not she’ll be going to jail for probation violations, Lohan was served with another lawsuit.
According to sources, Lohan directed her staffers to dispose of the process server, but he managed to drop his documents near her low-heeled black pumps before he was escorted off the elevator. California state law says that face-to-face contact must be made when someone is served - even if that someone used to be a huge movie star.
The documents don’t have to be put in Lindsay’s hands to be legally delivered. So, it looks like Linds is getting sued again…and her legal team is already pretty busy.

“I help out with the lawn, garbage, dishes… When I come back [from filming], I have extra mowing to do… It’s very important to me. I describe it as I live two different lives. I have this life and do what I love to do, but I also have the same exact life as before and nothing has changed.”

Awkward Couple of the Day: Nikki Reed and Jaden Smith

Posted by Robin Paulson Categories: Movies, Child Stars, Red Carpet, Photos, Paparazzi Photos,

Out of the dozens of men whom Nikki Reed could have taken to the Eclipse premiere, the starlet chose Will Smith’s son, 11 year-old Jaden. And I thought that Demi was the epitome of a cougar.
“I invited him when we were on Ellen together. Will Smith came into my room and was like, ‘It would be really cool if you could say hi to my son.’ My jaw was, like, on the floor. I was drooling and flabbergasted. I was like, ‘Yeah, sure! I can meet your son.’ And then Jaden comes in and he’s like, ‘Hey, what’s up?’ because he’s so cool… He taught me some karate moves and I was like, ‘Do you want to be my date to the Eclipse premiere because I don’t have a date? I guess that makes me a cougar. Yeah, I’m a cougar!”

Posted by Andru Edwards Categories: Television, Divorce, Child Stars, Legal Issues, Meltdowns, Obituaries, Rumors,

The strange story surrounding Gary Coleman‘s death unfolds by the day: Coleman secretly took out a restraining order against his ex-wife a few months before he died.
The former child star claimed in the documents that Shannon Price had moved back into his Utah home against his wishes while he was in hospital. In the documents - which were filed under “John Doe Vs. Jane Doe” - the actor alleged Shannon “has shown a tendency to damage, destroy and steal my property and I believe she will continue to do so in my absence and while she is trespassing in my home.”

Miley Cyrus: Too Sexy for Seventeen

Posted by K.C. Morgan Categories: Music, Television, Child Stars, Clothing, Fashion Police, Style, Paparazzi Photos, Rumors,

This photograph of a mostly-naked Miley Cyrus is totally legal - though, we aren’t too sure why. The pop songstress stepped out on Sunday to visit the MuchMusic Awards in Toronto wearing this barely-there creation of mesh and leather.
Cyrus was in the middle of huge media controversy last week when blogger Perez Hilton posted a questionable photo of her exiting a car. In the pic, it was difficult to tell whether or not Cyrus was wearing underwear, thereby exposing a very private area of her body. Anyone who distributes such a picture would be guilty of child pornography.
And yet, she’s well within her rights to wear outfits like this.

Amanda Bynes Announces Retirement at 24 Via Twitter

Posted by Robin Paulson Categories: D-List, Movies, Child Stars, Rants, Where Are They Now?,
Ever wonder where Nickelodeon star-turned-movie star Amanda Bynes has been? Yeah okay, me neither, which could be part of the reason as to why the 24-year-old has called it quits when it comes to acting.
The Sydney White star took to her Twitter page in wee hours of Saturday morning to let her fans face the bad news first:
“I don’t love acting anymore so I’ve stopped doing it… Being an actress isn’t as fun as it may seem. I’ve never written the movies & tv shows I’ve been apart of, I’ve only acted like the characters the producers or directors wanted me to play… I know 24 is a young age to retire but you heard it here first I’ve retired.”
While I’m by no means begging Bynes to return to movies, no one was stopping her from writing films and television shows… Sounds like someone has a case of ingratitude!
Or maybe it’s smart marketing: with her last film, Easy A, due out this fall, perhaps this is merely a ploy to lure her fans into the theater. Will you miss seeing Amanda on the big and small screens?

Perez Hilton and Joy Behar Talk Miley Cyrus

Posted by K.C. Morgan Categories: Music, Television, Child Stars, Legal Issues, Videos,
Blogger Perez Hilton recently appeared on Joy Behar’s show to talk at length about the controversial photograph of Miley Cyrus which was posted, then removed, from his famous website.
In the photo, Cyrus is wearing a short white dress and exiting a car. Perez raised eyebrows when he posted the photo on his blog, an item which seemed to show the pop star without undies on. Since she’s still 17, publicly posting a photo of Miley’s private parts is child pornography. Almost as soon as the pic appeared, a media &*^%storm began.

Gary Coleman Quietly Cremated

Posted by K.C. Morgan Categories: Television, Child Stars, Legal Issues, Obituaries,
With no fanfare, late child actor Gary Coleman was cremated on Thursday evening in Salt Lake City, Utah. The private, no-frills procedure was completed at the behest of Coleman himself, who stated in one of his wills that he wanted no funeral or memorial services.
Coleman’s ashes have been stored while a courtroom melodrama continues in Utah. The actor’s remains, and his property, are still the subject of debate as the judge and an independent attorney appointed to the case attempt to sort out the actor’s multiple wills, strange requests and warring friends and family.
There are currently no plans for a public memorial service of any kind for the well-loved actor, who shot to fame thanks to his portrayal of Arnold on Diff’rent Strokes.
