An exclusive photo obtained by TMZ now confirms earlier reports about Rihanna’s February 8th incident. Police insiders previously claimed the singer (real name: Robin Fenty) suffered two large forehead contusions in addition to a bloody nose and lip. Judging by this picture, that description was right on target.

In the current issue of People, several of Rihanna’s relatives open up about 19-year-old Chris Brown. One family member told the magazine the performer “flew so far under everyone’s radar that we just didn’t think he was that [abusive] type.” That same person adds that Chris “was always looking after her needs, making sure she was happy.”

Although the couple’s future is unknown, Rihanna’s father made his opinion clear. Ronald Fenty said he wishes his daughter would simply “move on.”
