The Latest on Shia LaBeouf and His Transformers 2 Star
Although Shia LaBeouf hasn’t yet returned to work, the actor’s hand (as seen yesterday) is reportedly doing much better since his car crash.
In an interview last weekend, Isabel Lucas (his Transformers 2 co-star and fellow accident victim) told Access Hollywood that she and and LaBeouf were doing nicely. “We’re both fine and Shia’s fine as well. His hand is healing well.”

Coincidentally, Shia’s recent appearance with Lucas comes around the same time as the news of her recent break-up. According to Us Weekly, the actress’ shaky relationship with Adrian Grenier ended for good after the accident last month. “All that stuff that happened with Shia definitely didn’t help things. When Adrian saw Isabel with Shia, he knew it was time to move on and made the decision to end things. He’s not upset and thinks Isabel is a really sweet girl but they’re done,” said a source.
Did Grenier sense that Isabel was more than just friends with Shia? Or did the 22-year-old just seem too immature for him at that point? (Adrian is 32.) I’m guessing it was a combination of both.
Assuming production gets back on track, we can see Lucas and LaBeouf together on-screen when Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen opens on June 26.
