Snooki has confirmed she's pregnant.

The Jersey Shore star - real name Nicole Polizzi - is expecting her first child with fiance Jionni LaVelle and she insists they're both ready for parenthood.

"I have different priorities now. I don't care what anybody else thinks. As long as I know I'm ready and he's ready," the 24-year-old former party girl told Us Weekly.

"We are not going to screw this up," Jionni added.

Snooki discovered she was pregnant at the beginning of the year and admits she was initially worried because she had been drinking on New Year's Eve, unaware she was expecting: "We found out right after New Year's. My first thought was, 'S**t, I've been drinking!' I was worried. It was New Year's Eve and we were in Vegas, so I did go crazy."
