Peter Andre to Stage Jackson Tribute

Australian singer-songwriter Peter Andre is in talks to stage a Michael Jackson tribute concert.
The “Behind Closed Doors” singer has been in “regular contact” with Michael’s sister La Toya and is hoping to meet her next week to “finalize” their plans for a show.
The 36-year-old star revealed in New! magazine:
“Over the last few weeks I have been in regular contact with La Toya Jackson about some kind of tribute for her brother, Michael. Everyone who knows me knows how much I idolized Michael and how much his music influenced me, so I feel really honored to be part of this. There isn’t anything quite set in stone yet but we have four or five ideas, including a tribute concert or a TV special. La Toya is flying to the UK next week, so we are going to meet up and hopefully put our ideas into action. La Toya is one of the few Jacksons I haven’t met yet, so I am really looking forward to spending some time with her.”
World Awards Media GmbH and Michael’s brother Jermaine have organized a tribute show for Michael, which has been announced to take place in Vienna, Austria at the Schoenbrunn Palace in September. Unconfirmed reports suggest U2, Madonna, Lionel Richie and Whitney Houston could all be performing.
Michael - who died in June - was due to stage a 50-night residency in London starting from July; many had presumed a concert in honor of him would take place in the UK capital.
